Rainpaw dashed over,her really long tail flying like an eagle's wing in the wind. She ran so fast she tripped over a log. Climbing up to her paws again, she roughly licked her tail. Splahkit kept running and didn't even pay attention to the apprentice. "hey, I'm allright, Splashkit, thanks for asking!" she called crossly. Splashkit pulled to a hault and raced over to her. "Sorry!" he panted. "What happened?" he eyed her ruffled pelt. "I tripped" she shook her fur. Splashkit shrugged and said "I won! I won!" Rainpaw was just cross becasue her tail was so long she was always tripping over something, because her tail put her off balance. "Splashkit!" called Barleyfur. Morningkit and Mudkit, Splashkit's siblings, trotted over to thier mother. Splaskit raised a paw in farwell and trotted into the nursery after his mother. Rainpaw roled her eyes anmd searched the clearing for someone to play with. Lightningpaw, Icepaw and Ashpaw sat talking around some rabbit. By the way Ashpaw was talking excitedly Rainpaw could tell that he caught the prey himself. Rainpaw bounded over, aware of the fact that her tail was billowing around and smacking some of her clanmates. (to us, her tail is one foot long!) she sat down and started grooming her tail, as always becasue it was so long it was always getting dirty.

"hello, Rainpaw!!!" exclaimed Lightningpaw, her sister and besty friend EVER! "Hi!" Rainpaw stopped grooming and focused on the rabbit. "are you going to eat that or what?" she asked. "It's the size of Splashkit! And he's HUGE! You cannot eat that by yourself" purred Ashpaw. "No, I cannot. But I sure can try!" she cried, launching herself and digging into it's belly. "No!" yowled Ashpaw, who flew at her, ripping his claws over her shoulder. However, Rainpaw was much bigger and she teased him with an occasial little bite on the ear or the tail. "leave her alone!" yowled Lightningpaw, flinging herself at Ashpaw and bowling him off his paws. Icepaw stepped back, but was flung to the ground as Lionpaw charged to help Rainpaw, who had her teeth locked into Ashpaw's tail. Icepaw leaped up to defend his brothers(Ashpaw and Lionpaw) and decided to fight with aSHPAW. hE SWIPED AT lIONPAW'S EARS (BIG MISTAKE!) and Lionpaw reared on his hindpaws and charged Icepaw into the ground. Lightningpaw screeched away from Ashpaw and leaped on Lionpaw's back, digging her claws into his back. "get off of him!" she yowled.

"Stop that right now!" snarled a voice. Rainpaw ducked under a bush as thier leader, Coyotestar stalked up to the battered apprentices. Lionpaw had a scatch on his shoulder, Ashpaw's eye was swollen, and Icepaw was limping. Lightningpaw had blood pouring out of a wound on her flank. Coyotestar gave a yowl in rage, and dug his claws into the ground. "I will hurt YOU if you EVER attack each other again! You fox-headed idiots! he hissed, and lashed out at the bush where Rainpaw was hiding. She flinched and drove father back into the bush. Coyotestar leaped at Lionpaw, but was interceapted by Ratscar, who stood on his hindpaws and slashed out to protect his kits. Gingerfoot, the mother of Rainpaw and Lightningpaw stood next to him. Coyotestar snarled"get out of the way!" he rasped "let me at 'em!" he staggered. As much as Rainpaw feared him, he was getting old. She glanced back at her pelt and stifiled a gasp. It was TORN with scraches, each fatally deep. She backed out of the bushes and fled out of camp. She raced along the streams and the riverbends and went all the way around the lake. She crossed the border without a second thought into Breezeclan and rounded up the cliffs. She stood on the top,looking down. She could hear the yowls in Thunderclan all the way up here. She squinted as she thought she saw huge dogs charging at full speed towards the thunderclan camp. She strained to count. She ended up counting 15 strong heads of dogs, with like five more hidden in the shadows. Thier shapes gave away the fact that they were huge! not able to go on, she staggered and rolled down the cliff and landed splash into the moonpool.
