North Pack wolves are clever, and stealth. They are strong hunters, and fighters. Not many know about them. Once both South and North Pack was only one pack. It was called The Pack of the Wise Ones. There was a fight between two of the wolves, and many left creating South Pack.

Chapter 1: First Meeting

The two pups reached the entrance. They were only maybe, four moons old, barely even an apprentice. One a female, and the other a male. They've been best friends since birth. The males mother, an omega. And the female's mother, alpha-female. "Myth, I don't think we should do this." The male muttered. Myth snorted and looked at Kodi, rolling her eyes. "I want to prove I'm not an omega, my father wants to make me one. I'd suffice being a hunter. I mean that's what I want to be." Myth muttered, brushing her tail against Kodi, sitting in front of him. Her blue eyes gleaming in the moonlight and fur shinning. Kodi gulped and shrugged "I guess. But I'm most likely gonna be an omega, wouldn't you want to be the same rank as me?" Kodi muttered. He was head over heals for Myth, and if she was an omega, yeah, sure they could be mates. Since she's the alpha's daughter, she couldn't be mates with him, only if her rank was low. "I don't want to be an omega." Myth whined, and padded into the forest. Turning around she caught a glimpse of Kodi walking back into the nursey. "Coward." she whispered and ran off into the forest. The moonlight barely escaping through the thick tree branches. Sliding to a spot, she caught the scent of a hare. Smirking sheepishly, Myth snuck into the bushes, slowly stalking up to the hare. She watched the wolves teaching their apprentices how to hunt back in the territory, so she knew how. Well kind of. The hare's ears twitched up, and it took off running. Letting out a growl Myth chased after it quickly, pouncing and catching it between her paws. Rolling and rolling, down a hill. Until finally the hare was dead, she didn't kill it. Its neck just snapped as they tumbled down the hill. Sitting up, she heard the faint footsteps of another wolf. Seeing a young creamy brown wolf pad out of the bushes, Myth growled, standing over the carcass. Chuckling the pup sat, sitting straight "I'm not gonna steal that from ya. Anyways, what's a North Pack wolf like you doing out so late and alone? I thought it was one of your codes that pups couldn't leave the territory." Myth frowned, and rolled her eyes. "I'm trying to prove to my father that I'm not an omega, but a hunter." she snapped back, baring her tiny pup fangs. The pup laughed slightly "Don't worry, I doubt your father would even do that. You're obviously not afraid. Sneaking out in the night, just to prove your father wrong? Pups in your pack must envy you." he said, grinning slightly. "I'm Cougar by the way. Oxen's son." The young she-pup grinned, everyone knew who Oxen was, he was only the best leader out there. "Um, hi Cougar. I'm Myth. I'm Boulder's daughter." Cougar smiled "I know that. Kodi is my cousin. He talks about you a lot. He's right, your eyes are really pretty, and your fur does shine in the moonlight. You'd be a fine alpha-female." Cougar relied. Suddenly, Myth's cheeks felt warm, blushing, obviously. Cougar seemed nice. Really nice. He's exactly what his father expected in a mate for Myth. Could she be having feelings for the pup she just met? Impossible. She barely even knows him.

Chapter 2: Death of a Leader

Two years later...

Sunlight shone through the hunter's den. A young she-wolf, Myth, blinked. Her eyes opening. Sitting up she stretched her back letting out a long tired yawn. She had just turned two only a few months ago. Looking around the den, she saw that only a few more wolves were still asleep. Rolling her eyes, Myth padded out of the. Quickly she ran to the omega's den, poking her head through the ivy entrance. Kodi was the only one still sleeping. Slowly and quietly she stalked up to him. With a devilish grin she pounced, landing on Kodi. "Wake up sleepy head." Myth barked jumping off Kodi. Kodi groaned and sat up, lifting his hind leg and scratched his ear, small furs falling off and flying around him. One landed on his nose and he let out a soft sneeze, getting up and shaking his fur. The omega's den was small and dark, all of the omegas were cramped inside it. Myth let out a sigh muttering "So, how's being an omega?" Kodi used to be the best fighter in the back, then killed one of the pups by mistake. It followed him out of the den and wanted to go on a adventure and ended up lost. Kodi thought it was squirrel since it was small, grey, and had a bushy tail. It's mother came just as he killed it, and took it the wrong way. Just the thought of it sent chills down Kodi's back. "Uh. Fine, I guess." Kodi replied. Myth stood up and looked at him. "Wanna go hunting?" she asked, and without waiting for a reply she took off running into the forest, Kodi not far behind. Without a warning Myth slid to a stop, Kodi crashing into her and the two collapsed to the ground, their noses touching. Kodi quickly jumped off and muttered "Uh, sorry." Myth got up shaking her fur, that scent. It was so familiar. Slowly Myth padded down the steep hill. There was a small rustle in the bushes. "Myth! Come back." Kodi barked, sitting at the top of the hill. Myth let out a soft growl and whisper "So annoying." and turned running up the hill. She was so sure she smelt that scent once. And the area was so familiar. She just wasn't able to remember.

Myth was right, she did know that scent. It was Cougar's. He padded out of the bushes, followed by his friend bug. "Duude, that North Pack wolf was hawt. How come they're hawtter than ours?" Bug said sitting down, his golden brown bangs covering his green eyes.
Cougar rolled his eyes and shrugged "I don't know. Let's start heading back." he jumped into the bush, and ignored Bug as he kept talking about how 'hot' that wolf was. When they finally reached the territory, everyone looked at him with sorrow in their eyes,and it began to drizzle, and thunder crashed in the distance. Cougar sighed and padded into his father's den, the alpha's den. The den was empty, not even the moss bed was there. Cougar backed up and ran to Six's den, the beta's. He found Six laying on his moss bed, covered in wounds. "Six?! What's going on?" Cougar asked worriedly. Six looked at him and sighed, "Cougar... I'm so sorry." he began. "Your father and I went on a border patrol. There were three North Pack wolves. Their beta, and two of their best fighters, two of the four brothers. We killed them all... b-b-ut. They killed your father. His body is in the Healer's den, we are burrying it tomorrow when." he stopped hesitating and continued with a growl, "All of the other packs come." Cougar backed away muttering "No, that can't be possible." he ran off to the Healer's den quickly. Ran poured down, lightning light the sky. Thunder crashed as Cougar stopped seeing his father's motionless body on the ground. "Father!" Cougar yelped. He quickly ran over, laying by his father and digging his face into his father's neck fur. Tears streamed down Cougar's face. His father and him were so close. Flashbacks started filling Cougar's mind...
Cougar ran after his father in the long grass under the starry night. The two of them laughing. Cougar was only about four months. His father, Menelaus, threw himself on the ground as Cougar tugged at his ears. "Cougar, one day you will be a great leader, like me. Leading your back through dark days, or even the impossible. Maybe you will make it better. And when I die, I will guide you through the toughest times, you are my first and only son." Menelaus said, setting his son in front of him. Cougar grinned and rubbed his head against his father's cheek "I love you da-"
And as soon as the flashback started it ended. Cougar was the new alpha now.
