Reedkit opened his eyes and yawned. The first thing he saw was his mothers calico colored gray,white,black and red pelt. He glanced back at his own pelt. It was white with black jagged stripes. He turned his head to see his sisters red tabby striped pelt. Squinting past the tabby, he studied his gray dappled sister jerk her paws in a dream. On reedkit's other side he saw a jet black Tom.
