how about the girl tries to find out where her mother went and tries to figure out how to get to her with bad guys or people who really
a) hate her and want to hurt her
b)want to injure or kill her and the book turns into a high speed chase
and for more romance how about add a guy who she really likes but doesnt know it until he saves her life a few times.
read immortal beloved book one and it might give you some ideas as well

At the end of the book you can
1)find the mother
2)the boy and girl get together
3)some one dies (harsh i know but a lot of good romance novels i've heard there is always some one who sacfices)
4)go with 1 and 2
5)all of the above

Aw, thanks guys! It makes me happy that you guys think it's good! I've been thinking of writing a story, and wanted to know if the concept sounded good?

In a world called Magnolia, there are four counties, Maluna, Sorrlen, Skaia, and Aquallica. These four countries all have different terrain, and are inhabited by different species.

Maluna is rocky, and rarely sees sunlight. It is home to demons, vampires, werewolves, and other night creatures. It is the third smallest country, but is not to be overlooked when it comes to power. Most creatures who live in this land are natural fighters, and their quality more than makes up for their poor quantity. It is ruled by the empress, a powerful demon named Keiri Riaz. She is a fair ruler who lets all of her people have a say in what happens in their country. She often consults her younger siblings, Avana, Mirai, and Alianora, for advice if she feels she is being pressured or guilted into something.

Sorrlen is filled with dense forests, but has a large city in the center. In the city live humans and other humanoid figures, but in the forests, anything can be found. Colonies of illusion pixies, simple woodland fairies, and fae. But the rulers of the forests are the tribal elves and shifters. These tribes are rather small, with only twelve to twenty people in each. Each tribe governs a direction, the leopard shifters govern the south, the wolf shifters, the north. The raven shifters control the east, and the west belongs to the owl shifters. These directions are also ruled by the elven tribes. While there have been minor disputes over power in the area between the shifters and the elves, things have gone surprisingly smooth.

Skaia is the smallest country, and is only inhabited by creatures with wings, or with the blood of a winged creature running through their veins. The reason is simple. Skaia is a large cloud floating above Magnolia, anyone without the proper heritage would not be able to stand on the clouds. They live in a democracy, where they will talk things out over cookies and a nice cup of tea. Or hot chocolate for the younger ones.

Finally, Aquallia. This is the second largest country, and is located underwater. The main city has a large bubble around it, allowing anybody without gills to live there. They are ruled by the king and queen, who have many consultants to to aid their decisions. Outside the main city are many clans of different races. There are sea witches, who look like humans, with the exception of the gills along their neck and sides, the water nymphs, who have skin and hair of varying shades of blue, the mermaids and mermen, of course, and many others. Many people visit Aquallia to get their fortune told, as many water nymphs and sea witches are born with some kind of psychic power.

For centuries, these countries have been at peace. Now an army is coming together to begin a war. People from different countries are murdering, and blaming it on official soldiers from another country. In order to stop this, ten girls have been given powers, and one has been given knowledge of what's happening.

The one problem? She'll have to cross universes to collect all of them. Of the ten girls given powers, seven are located in Magnolia. Our heroine will have to cross dimensions to collect the girls from Tenryu and Earth to stop the war. Oh, and one more catch. None can control their powers. Gosh, thank goodness that assassin guild is there to help them.
