Cool :D me like it...Well I love writing myself and although I have writers block on most of the stories Im writing currently Id like to contribute a poem... :)

Light,
The center and creator of life,
it takes the coldness from the earth,
It glows in the darknest of places,
It warms the soul and skin,
It can be a friend,
It can be a protector,
It it can be the sun,
It can be faith,
And it can be a guiding hand,
Light is found everywhere,
You never lose it and it cant be destroyed,
Only you can decide what a light is,
and What and where it is,
And only you can chose to push it away.

so what ya think?

I would be interested in posting a short story or segments of stories here. It sounds fun. :D
Image Indomita is a wild horse simulation game. You can create your own horse characters and guide them on their journies through the island chain of Paradisus. Lead your characters through their lives and experience the triumphs and failures they may face. Help them to become the best possible version of themselves whether that is as a brave explorer who makes useful and exciting discoveries for the herd. Or maybe as a silver-tongued diplomat who use their special set of skills to take what they want. The opportunities are endless!

I just wrote a poem since I can't sleep and I'd like some critique! They're a series of haikus with the traditional 5-7-5 syllable pattern stringed together to create a cohesive poem. The lines in brackets are meant to be read together at the end, creating a statement.

Unravel with the Night

(Let’s get lost sometime)
We can forget about the world
Let silence take us

(Whisper in my ear)
“I unravel with the night”
And I’ll let go too

(When you want to go)
I’ll watch your midnight eyes close
You won’t dream alone

(And we will ascend;)
Greet the moon as an old friend
The sky’s ours tonight

(Dancing in the night)
I’ll watch stars envy your eyes
They can’t shine as bright

(You’ll press against me)
The sun’s jealous of our warmth
Morning’s at our heels

(But the clock will catch us)
We’ll beg not to see the sun
It tears us apart

(And we’ll have to leave)
With the stars still in our eyes
We’re slaves to the day

(Don’t worry darling)
I’ll keep you safe in my heart
‘Till twilight frees us

(I’ll see you again)
Among the constellations
The world can’t touch us

(You’ll be in my dreams)
The best of darkest and light
Meet at such great heights

(Let’s get lost sometime. Whisper in my ear when you want to go and we will ascend. Dancing in the night you’ll press against me, but the clock will catch us and we’ll have to leave. Don’t worry darling, I’ll see you again; you’ll be in my dreams.)

The lantern glows
In a flickering gold
And the girls onyx eyes
Grow slowly more bold

"Come to me, child,
I'll give you a new form"
"Come now child,
Wouldn't you like to perform?"

But as you stand still
In the very same place
A shocking scowl
Comes over her face

And her fair onyx eyes
Grow a shade much too cold
And they seem to tell stories
That should have never been told

She screams and she howls
And seethes with rage
And what seems to be young
Is now showing age

So be quick now child
Do not stay
For instinct has told you
To run away.

The small city of Magnolia is in panic. Teenagers and children have been mysteriously disappearing, and not a single clue has ever been left. Parents are freaking out, refusing to let children go out after dark, yet some still sneak out after dark. They never come back. Every morning, a parent will cry out in shock, and soon, they will mourn their loss. For everyone knows, that once you disappear, you're never coming back. People have been arguing, everyone has their own solution to the problem, and no one agrees with a solution that's not their own. The one thing they can agree on? That new circus just outside of town is amazing!

Every night,
In the downtown park
A little girl is seen waiting,
By the lanterns in the dark

Adults will tell her,
"Child, go home!
You can't be her right now,
It's not safe anymore!"

But the little girl,
Will just shake her head.
And innocently smile,
As though she doesn't know of death

She'll speak out on a whim,
With her angelic child's eyes,
"It's okay, Mr, Mrs,
The demons obey my cries."

She'll smile again,
And walk away,
But people will swear,
Her shadow grinned that day.

The new circus outside of Magnolia is becoming more famous as it gains new acts everyday. Masked performers complete death defying stunts, while others provide simple entertainment in fortune telling and clown acts. But, no matter how much they ask, the performers won't remove their masks. "It's the rule here you see, we just can't show thee."

And everyday at six,
They'll close down the show,
And the viewers will gossip,
To the people they know.

"They can't be human,
Just look at that skill!"
Little do they know,
That what they say is so true....

Okay, so, if anyone noticed, this is a different take on the poem in my signature. Critiques are appreciated!
The lantern glows
In a flickering gold
And the wolves onyx eyes
Grow slowly more bold

"Come to me, child,
Come keep me warm"
"Come now child,
Aren't you here to perform?"

But as you stand still
In the very same place
A shocking scowl
Comes over her face

And her fair onyx eyes
Grow a shade much too cold
And they seem to tell stories
That should have never been told

She screams and she howls
And seethes with rage
And what seemed to be young

So be quick now child
Do not stay
For instinct has told you
To run away.
