This is about two Clans named DawnClan and DuskClan, both Clans live in peace until something dangerous comes to the forest, cats are being picked off one-by-one and they have no way to stop it, until a prophecy is said. Four cats, two from each Clan, must travel away and find something to help them defeat the threat, but will it be too late?

Sparrowstar sighed and looked at the sky, the black and white patched she-cat was looking up at the Silverpelt as it shone brightly, she looked at the brightest star, which happened to be one of her Clanmates. Her best friend Springbreeze had her kits a few days ago, she had given birth to a she-cat and two toms, the she-cat was named Winterkit and the toms were named Firekit and Birdkit. Since it was leaf-bare, it was easy for the kits to catch greencough, and Birdkit caught greencough the day after he was born, the poor kitten had been coughing all the time, and he was too young to eat any herbs, and that very night, the brown tabby had died, he had no chance against the sickness, and his life had been taken. Sparrowstar could still hear Springbreeze weeping in the middle of camp, she was holding vigil for her kit. The other queen, Whitedapple, who was close to having her kits, was watching over Winterkit and Firekit. She looked at the weeping white queen in the clearing before Sparrowstar jumped down from Lowrock and padded over to Springbreeze.
"Springbreeze, Birdkit was a very playful kit, even if he hadn't opened his eyes yet." Sparrowstar murmured, placing her tail on the white she-cats flank. "Birdkit is in StarClan, he might visit you in dreams."
"Normal cats don't get dreams." Springbreeze sniffed. "Maybe he will visit you in a dream, Sparrowstar."
Sparrowstar nodded, her paws shuffled. "He might, and I will tell you if he tells me something to tell you."
Springbreeze smiled slightly and her tail swished along the ground. "Thank you, Sparrowstar." She murmured beore she yawned, her teeth glinting.
"You look tired, go to sleep and I will bury Birdkit." Sparrowstar meowed as she gingerly grabbed the limp body of Birdkit.
Springbreeze smiled tiredly. "Thank you Sparrowstar." She meowed before she rose to her paws slowly and padded towards the nursery.
Sparrowstar watched Springbreeze for a few moments before she turned and padded out of camp, the brown tabby body of Birdkit in her jaws.
The leader padded deep into the forest, it even started to rain as she walked on, but she didn't stop. The pregnant she-cat soon found a meadow, covered with dew, she dug a hole in the dirt and placed Birdkit in it. "May StarClan light your path, Birdkit." She murmured before she put the dirt back in the hole and on Birdkit to cover the poor dead kit.
Sparrowstar started to walk towards camp, the moon shone brightly above her, along with the stars in the Silverpelt. When Sparrowstar got the camp, it was just about dawn, and her deputy Flamestep, was awake and setting up patrols.
"Scorchfire, Littledawn, Patchecho and Goldfeather, go on the border patrol along DuskClan border." The orange tabby meowed. "Frozensky, Nightwish, Bramblefur and Hazelstream, go on a hunting patrol." Flamestep added. "Wolffang and Skydapple, get your apprentices and meet Dustpaw, Sunpaw and I in the training hollow."
"Flamestep, I can train my own apprentice, you don't have to train him for me, my kits wont be coming for another moon and a bit." Sparrowstar meowed.
"You can't work too hard, Sparrowstar, it is best you stay in camp." Flamestep meowed, flickering his tail.
Sparrowstar growled and padded to her den with a twitch of her tail, only to see the medicine cat Shadowflight waiting for her.
"Sparrowstar! Where were you?" Shadowflight meowed, he was always worried about his sister.
"Its ok Shadowflight, I was only buring Birdkit." Sparrowstar meowed, touching noses with her brother.
"Where?" Shadowflight asked, licking one of his paws.
"In the meadow." Sparrowstar meowed, that was where she buried most cats if she got a chance to bury any.
"But that is too far away! What if you gave birth to your kits?!" Shadowflight fretted.
"Shadowflight, they arn't due for another moon and a half." Sparrowstar meowed. "I'm sure I would have been fine, and I was."
"But what if they came early!" Shadowflight meowed.
"Shadowflight, stop fretting, I'm fine now." Sparrowstar snapped sternly but soft.
Shadowflight sighed. "I guess your right, but I'm just worried about you, I don't want you to die like Stonecatcher and Berryleaf." He murmured.
Sparrowstar sighed and nuzzled her brother sadly at the thought of their mother and father. "Stonecatcher and Berryleaf died a warriors death." She meowed, their parents had died while protecting the nursery from a badger when they were kits.
Shadowflight sighed and turned to pad out of Sparrowstar's den. "Just be careful Sparrowstar." He meowed. "Now, I think I will go and collect some herbs."
Sparrowstar sighed. "Ok, just make sure you are careful Shadowflight." She murmured.
Shadowflight nodded. "I will." He meowed before he bounded out of Sparrowstar's den and into the forest.
