Story Ideas?

I'm sure that a lot of people get that urge to write something great but just don't know where to go with their ideas. It gnaws at you for days, and you just need a little help. So, anyone have some ideas?

I've been up to writing about crazy people, murders, and ghosts lately. I don't really know what to write though! I want to write something amazing. What have you guys been up to writing?

I like to write about criminals from different points of view and the people against them.
