The Knights' Poem

Just a little thing I felt inspired to do. Feel free to critique, I can take it, but PLEASE PLEASE don't steal!

Shining armour,
Not always shining,
Longing for home,
Always pining,

Fight after fight,
Battle-worn scars,
Seen as enemies,
Or looked upon like stars,

Long names start with Sir,
All valiant and true,
But curses they get,
That which they rue,

Strong in body,
Mind, soul and heart,
Strong in their Knighthood,
With which they can't part,

Must help at all times,
No matter the cause,
Never to cower,
Run or to pause,

Bravest of the brave,
Cleverest of the clever,
To withstand the torture,
And the heads they must sever,

Not all the glam,
Not all the great,
Not all the fun,
Not with the best fate.
