The Lament

Postby Ser Doodah the Lewd » Sat Jan 28, 2012 2:12 pm

The night gleams with the sharp, diamond-like stars in the ebony sky as the lone, black figure walks on a single, twisted moor. The strange prairies twisting, almost like a foothill, but there is all but a cliff near the edge of the moor, the grass glinting in the moonlight with the shines of the early morning dew, the heavy, sandaled feet appear to be..Furred? Surely this creature is an upright humanoid figure of an Animal. The sheathed, curved blade downturned at his side, the heavy scabbard, or sheathe of the blade having etched in markings, presumably those of a foreign tongue, or writing. A short, ursine-like snout extends through the shadow of the equally-foreign, thin cone-like cap, weaved similar to that of a wooden basket. The snout of the figure obviously inhuman in its form, donning a silken white tone of the short fur that has shone through, the lone beastial creature’s snout and upper facials that seem to be hidden in the shadow shows mangied, long and mildly gruesome scars that bore down the sides of his face, showing an aged, battle-worn figure underneath the shadow. Beneath the rounded, broad snout shows of a black, salivated lip. Seemingly curved in an upturned fashion to show an almost permanent smile. The figure is seemingly fairly short, about the size equal or slightly larger than that of a Dwarf, the figure slowly raises his cap as the bands that hold it to his head unfurl and loosen, sliding down his brawny, heavy head and showing off the rest of his inhuman features.
A two large, black spots covering over his eyes, the fur seemingly shorter than the rest of his white-donned fur that seems to show on the rest of his body, or atleast the rest of his head that is revealed from the shadow of the cap. In the center of the spots show two dark, almost beady eyes, sharp and gleamed with an almost child-like curiosity, along with a presumed wisdom beyond the apparent years of the ursine figure. Two, oval-like ears, caved at the center also covered in the short, blackened fur. Yet a small chip from an aged scar covets the left, while the right remains presumably untouched, all yet shown under the long, wiry jet-black hair that forms at the back of the panda-esque creature’s head. The fur thickening around it to show a small variance and transition in the furred form of the creature’s body.

(NOTE: I may or may not continue, but I may have enough time this weekend to. :D))
