Cloudberry crouched. She glared and shrank back and got ready to leap. She wiggled her rear end and got ready to pounce. closer, closer she thought eargly. now! she pounced and landed on the mouse and killed it with a bite to its neck. She shook her fur and popped her head up. Fawnheart swatted at her pelt. The elders would like it. She thought she might've picked up a few fleas from one of them. She'd warn Fanwhisker later. Shacking her fur, she licked her shoulder. She then had a horrible thought. she imagined ripping her claws into Doveflight's throat...NO!!!! NEVER! She is my SISTER!" she snarled in anger at her lame thought. She felt terribly ashamed of herself. "are you okay?" Darkfrost's soft murmering made her jump. "I'm fine!" she snapped, hissing. Darkfrost shrugged and took a few paces away. "you mustn't claw his ears off" Blossomheart rode up, flicking her tail. "you know he really likes you" Cloudberry scratched in awakwardness. She had never noticed that before, she was too wrapped up in Brambletalon. "No, really" she dipped her head. "Brambletalon cannot be in your life now. He has Doveflight. But Darkfrost can"

Darkfrost streched and kneaded his paws. He shook his fur and could not help glancing at Cloudberry. He totted out and walked into camp. He looked around and say Nightkit and Dustkit scuffling in the dirt. Yeah? Well that could be us if you weren't so in love with Brambletalon! he thought bitterly, shaking his head. He nedded to be kind to the she-cat! Darkfrost knew it could get from bad to worse . He just needed to get her mind off Brambletalon. Then a plan flickered in his mind.

Darkfrost waited until the next day to carry out his plan. It was risky. He went to the windclan border, tasting the air for danger. He shook his fur and crossed over. Sure enough, an apprentice was strolling across. Giving an angry yowl, he ran into his side. When they were done fighting he had scratches all over. He trotted back into camp. Rainstar yowled in shock. "What happened?" she gasped. "an apprentice on the windclan border attacked me!! He stole my stupid rabbit" he flicked his tail angerily. He had just meant to look hurt, but the apprentice stole his rabbit. Rainstar shook she head angerily. Cloudberry leaped over in two neat strides. "wow, what happened to you?" she asked. he explained his story again, describing each move he did. "you know the funny thing?" he meowed. "What?" Cloudberry asked. "that darned fox-heart stole my rabbit!" he exclaimed. Cloudberry let out a mmrow of amusement. "nice going! But be careful next time!" she flicked him with her tail, worry coming over her. He smiled. "you don't need to worry about me" he was bursting with happiness on the inside. "I feel like I could run on forever !" She looked sideways. Pure joy flooded through her. "Rainstar, may I make an annoucement?" yowled Brambletalon. Cloudberry just shrugged and rolled her eyes and pressed harder against Darkfrost. "Yes" Rainstar ducked her head. "Doveflight will be having my kits!" he yowled. Cloudberry purred. "I think we might have to join her" Darkfrost whispered. No suprise came of Cloudberry. "I'd like that"
