As to how to write a good death, I would recommend looking at some of your favorites-- mine would be, say, the death of Hal 9000 in 2001-- and seeing what makes it so meaningful. A lot of my favorites are made dramatic by the reaction of other characters to the death. Think about how your characters would deal with the death: often, there's shock, fear, disbelief, denial, rage, misery, numbness, or some combination thereof in the initial reaction, followed by the beginnings of the five stages of grief (which I'd recommend looking up).

So, since I'm plannin a writing project (which I will link later), what do you do to plan projects like this?

I write ideas for each chapter on a piece of paper uvu

What I do is I have an overarching plot for the whole book or story, then I plot each chapter one by one until I reach the end goal. Once those are done I write each chapter, step back for a while and read it a few weeks later. I make edits I twist the plots etc. I found a book about that, which I found very helpful. I will try to link it.

Hello, I need to re-introduce myself C; its been a while! I am saturn. Member of the last thread - I am a decent (in my opinion) try-to-be writer- I really love fantasy and personification stories, and I just made one, I would love if you guys would read it! It would make me feel better since I feel kinda down right now!
