Story: "My name is Camellia but I wish it were Thorn." I loved singing that song as it let me express my feelings. Everyone called me Thorn anyways. I was walking to the park to play Kitty in the Middle when I heard a cry. It sounded alone and faraway. I was wondering what made the sound when I heard it again. I ran towards it as this time it sounded in pain. Suddenly I stopped. In front of me was the largest phatimal ever. With a pointy snout, wings that never fold, and a humongous body (airplane), it was enough to scare anything. I started to quiver but I remembered the cry. I looked around and spotted a pile of ashes. I walk towards it as it is glinting but something grabs me. I bite it and sprint away. I start to quiver again and tried to remember why I came here. I couldn't. My brain was a jumble of a mess. As I calmed down, I tried to place my thoughts. I couldn't once again. Then I hear my someone call me. It sounds so familiar. I snap up and is reminded of the cry. I ran to the pile of ashes and dig. I know something is there so I dig faster. The ash pile coughs and coughs. It seemed like it would never stop. I shouted hoping to attract attention. I see a blur of colours and in a blink of an eye, a phat fox is by my side. The ash pile is gone. My new found friend and I walk back saying nothing. At the park, he runs away, but not without thanking me and hoping we'll meet again. Hopefully when I'm in trouble.
