Prompt: Burningshadow had always resented the cats in authority. She had always thought that she should have a spot there herself, being the daughter to the leader and all.
So when she heard rumors of her brother, Rumblespark being next in line after the deputy, she couldn't handle it anymore.
It broke her.
How dare he be the one to lead, while she is stuck as little more than a warrior? Wouldn't his partial blindness get in the way of it?
She tried to put a stop to this by attempting to end his life, which ultimately failed when their uncle, Oakleaf got involved. He acted quickly to prevent rumblespark's demise, striking burningshadow right across the left cheek under her eye, just before she could sneak up on her brother and make her move.
Oakleaf shunned his niece for such a terrible thing, saying that she had no right in the clan or to even be a warrior. She had brought disgrace on her family to even think of doing such a thing.
She was eventually exiled for such a traitorous act.
Her scar a constant reminder of the horrible crime that she had committed against her clan. Her own brother. (200 words exactly)

Maple let out a low warning growl, maw pinching into a scowl as she was knocked off her balance and sent to the floor. Her shoulders hit the ground hard and for a brief moment she wondered if the impact would leave a bruise that would cause her difficulty later.
Her attention was pulled back to the matter at hand, the ghostly form that stood over her placed a paw to her chest, holding her still. A growl erupted from the ghost followed by words.

"When will you learn Maple," they hissed slow and steady, "that I have rules for a reason."

"Never."
Maple spat in reply, defiant despite the way the ghost above her reeled back, raising their paw to strike. There was a scoff from the ghost before they brought their paw down, striking her across the face. [140]

Everything was blurry. Petalpaw stood in the center of the clearing staring at his brother’s lifeless body, legs shaking. It’s just a dream.. It can’t be true… It’s my fault… all my fault… The next thing she heard was a loud hissing. It was Emberpaw, Petalpaw’s other littermate. „Coward! You killed him!” „I.. it was an accident! I didn’t mean to lea-„ „Liar!” A strong blow on the muzzle sent her flying backwards. Suddenly the tortoiseshell she-cat felt a salty, irony taste on her tongue. Blood. Emberpaw yowled with fury and grief as blow by blow she attacked her sister, who didn’t even try to defend herself. After a couple of heartbeats two warriors stepped forward and broke up the fight. Emberpaw let out a shriek and fled through the camp entrance. Petal just stood there, frozen, unable to process what just happened…
That day Petalwish lost two siblings at once… The scar on her lips is always there, like a painful reminder of all the guilt, shame and grief she felt that day…
