- [ abyssmal ] - although this creature normally prefers the deep pools of oceans and saltwater areas, it's not uncommon to see it's large form crawling through rivers or lakes while moving to a new area. in it's abyss coloring, the dark waterproof fur hides all but the glowing yellow skin on it's body which attracts prey to snatch up at the last moment. in it's freshwater form those looking from above often mistake it for a dolphin at a distance, before they get a glimpse of the terrifying maw as it flees from open area.
