Well I'm glad you asked, cause Vanti has been waiting and waiting for the permission slip from NASA in order to fly out into space and see the stars up close.

Vanti has the ability to fly and withstand space for upwards of seven hours, but afterwards she has to recharge back on earth with proper oxygen.
She tends to wear a watch to let her know when to land and recharge.

Vanti has tried to document stars in the past, but space and government officials have "requested" that she not fly out of the atmosphere without a permit.
So Vanti would give her right hind leg and all her teeth minus the canines, just to follow her dream of space travel and documentation.

If she were to receive the permit, Vanti would probably celebrate for a week and joke to all her friends that she's got a "dentist appointment" to go to, followed by a "leg surgery".
We both know she's just kidding, I hope.... she just loves the stars so darn much!

‘the stars?’ the kalon gasps, her mouth agape. you smile, the offer hanging in the air between the two of you. ‘of course, how could i say no!’

there’s little surprise in her answer - after all, her shop is filled with all the whimsical merchandise of a witch, especially one who dabbles in astrological magic. the lights on the low ceiling dimly twinkle like faraway stars, and the walls glow faintly with painted constellations. by the cash register, a miniature planet and moon spin a few inches off the counter, and retro posters of space hang on the walls. though it may be considered the work of a fanatic to some (after all, her stuff can’t really work), you can’t help but give her some respect for all the effort it took to making this quirky shop - Celeste’s Celestial Emporium, Potions and Spells for the Mixed Magical Arts.

‘well, i must get packing right away then!’ she collects herself, looking around and grabbing a few small items- a notebook, feathered pen... was that a living animal she just put into her bag? must have been a trick of the light. she talks as she gathers supplies around the shop, filling it into a visually small bag (like, how did she just stuff a telescope in there?). ‘i can’t thank you enough for this! how can i ever repay you? oh, i know, i can definitely do something with the star dust i collect! are you in need of any specific potions?’

you smile- maybe this ‘witch’ might actually be the real deal? only one way to find out.

- lives in a small town where she’s regarded as kind of quirky but nice
- actually is a witch though?? but people don’t believe her
