Tris never relaxes, in fact she doesn't know how to relax. Tris works a soul destroying job writing websites, leaflets and other bits for large companies. As a freelance ghost writer and perfectionist it's not work she can just put down. When she's working on a piece it occupies her thoughts at all times and when she's not working on a piece she's constantly checking her emails and worrying about when the next piece of work is going to come in.

Tris is also writing a novel, which used to be relaxing but now even that stresses her out. She's been working on it for years and she is so unhappy with her lack of progress that it's becoming an obstacle in itself. She had a five year plan that's been completely destroyed by her inability to finish and publish her novel.

This Kruise is Tris' first holiday since she was in school. Even on the boat she was using her phone to check emails for assignments and trying to write her novel. Being stranded on this island is probably the best thing that could have happened to her, no signal, no power, no stress. Finally, a chance for her to relax and refocus.

Unfortunately, Tris' body is not used to relaxing and she feels constantly agitated by having nothing to do. She's taken up repetitive tasks, such as sorting rocks and picking up litter to occupy her mind without being too mentally taxing. Which for Tris is about as relaxed as you'll ever see her. After all this work you've been doing, you must be exhausted. It's your vacation, so today you should just chill. How does your kalon relax?
Being a god of luck isn’t easy work. It took constant effort and dedication to be able to keep up with the needs of the people and help them overcome their troubles. That was the whole point of this Kruise. Cherry Blossom needed a break from all that work to just take some time for himself.
Unfortunately, this trip had been more work than his whole month leading up to now. It was constant. “Someone fix our cruise ship. Someone find those mermaids. Some build this crab shrine.” It was absolutely endless. But, lately he had gotten some free time. Finally, after all this effort, he was getting to take some breaks. He’d done all his shopping and gotten plenty of tasty island food. Which meant there was only one thing left for him to do: take a nap. A nice, long nap in the warm ocean air.
Cherry walked down to the beach and cleaned out a spot in the sand, moving the shells and leaves from beneath him. Once he felt like he had a nice, comfy spot, he laid down. Nothing more to his day, no other plans. This was what Cherry had hoped for on this vacation. Some real, honest to goodness relaxation.

After all this work you've been doing, you must be exhausted. It's your vacation, so today you should just chill. How does your kalon relax?

Honestly, this cruise has been the first time antheia has decided to actually do something to relax. She cant remember the last time she just chilled out - she doesn't travel much and when she does it's for work. At home she's constantly stressed and her way of 'relaxing' is brewing up batches and batches of her life and love potions. If she can't feel the heartbreak because everyone's in love then maybe she could count that as relaxed, but even then it doesn't last very long.
Perhaps the closest to relaxing she gets is being stressed, but stressed around the only other kalon who currently understands her situation.
Of course that kal isn't on the island right now so that doesn't exactly work.
If she has to pick something to do to relax here, she supposes the closest she'll get is going for a swim. Hanging out by the shore (as far away from the merkals as possible) and just floating in the gentle waters, watching clouds drift by and letting her thoughts turn blank. If she tries to make shapes it'll make her think, so she doesn't try, just watches them drift.
She needs to be careful not to go too far from the coast but for the most part, she thinks, if she can just lay here in the warm sun and cook water doing absolutely nothing, maybe she can count this as relaxing.

How does your kalon relax?

It was easy to say that this cruise had been anything but smooth sailing. It certainly hadn't followed the schedule Annie had been planning on. Yes, the island had opened up wonderful adventures, but it had been rather hectic, too. She'd spent many days walking around town, buying things, exploring the jungle, spending time at the beach, learning to surf and snorkelling, finding parts for Shark, whale watching, haggling with mermaids - the list just went on and on.

Maybe she did deserve some time to herself. A little 'me time', away from the crowds. Yes, that would be nice.

She packed up a backpack and after putting on sunscreen - it was always good to be safe - she set out to find a secluded spot. She walked down the beach, barefoot in the shallows, until the amount of people began to dwindle and the sounds became quiter, more relaxing. She then made her way up the sand, slowing as she walked along the edge of the jungle, looking for the perfect space.

She came to a part where the trees were overhanging slightly, creating a large, shady space beneath the foliage. Walking over, she leant down to feel the cool sand beneath her fingers. This place was away from the main area, and birdsong and the gentle sound of the water was all that could be heard.

Yes, this would do very nicely.

Out came the towel, which she lay down on. Her bag became her pillow. She could feel the cool sand seeping through, lowering her temperature. It was bliss after being in that hot sun. Closing her eyes, she felt a light breeze run over her arms. The gentle sound of the ocean was calming, almost lulling her into sleep.

Now this was relaxing.
