Moons ago, the five warrior clans, ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan were destroyed by a massive storm. A tornado tore through the territories, and a massive forest fire ran through ThunderClan. The cats who were able to escape alive fled. With the remaining cats, StarClan contacted many warriors, even kittypets, to create new clans. If their plan failed, the warrior code may just be lost forever.

If he had wings, he would obviously practice to use his wings properly before setting off into the world, but he won't go far, only if it were necessary otherwise he would stay near his clan, no more than 20 kilometres. Oakbirch would just LOVE to see what's over the mountain in his territory, only knowing that there is another clan on the other side, although nothing else but just that. Explore over the mountains and uncharted territory for multiple reasons: His own fun, to help his clan, get across to the other clan much easier and faster. Just so many things to do with wings! Of course he won't always do it only for himself, he'll use those wings for the purpose of others.
