The deities of this world have watched as the Skylings fell from virtue despite their persistent guidance. They realized it
was time for a change. Solas and Nixis have decided to make a visit to the mortal realm and train new leaders to rule this
realm as they did previously. The training will not be easy, but it'll be worth it. Do you have what it takes to be the true
leader of a Skyling flight? Are you dedicated enough to stick through to the end? The two gods stand before you, asking you
to make a choice:

Will you train by day, or by night?

Welcome to the starter event for Children of the Sky! For this event, you will choose your flight's faction and complete quests in order to get a custom Skyling, as well as several other rewards throughout the event. Keep an eye out for our daily quests to get rewards such as MP, additional edits for your Skyling, and more! To start out, choose which Faction's quests you will be completing: Sun or Moon! Be sure to choose wisely! This decision cannot be changed in the future and will determine which faction-specific quests your flight will be able to complete throughout the game (not just the event!). If you have already chosen your faction, please be sure to follow that faction's quests for this event.



⭐ Quest one: Mark the main page ⭐
➸ Link to your post on the main page, and you'll get 5 MP!

⭐ Quest two: Invite others ⭐
➸ Get two or more people to mark the main page saying that
you referred them, and you'll get 10 MP! If they complete the
first event quest (by filling out the form and linking to their
marks on the main page) each of you will get an additional 5 MP!

You chose to train in the daylight hours, focusing on herbalism and plant growth.
You work under the heat and light of the sun, relying on it's powerful rays to
illuminate the land you've chosen as your training grounds. Solas, the deity of
the sun and the faction you've chosen, has offered to train and guide you toward
the life of a brave and virtuous leader. It is an honor that you and your flight
will likely speak of for generations to come.

Solas approaches you with a soft smile, "Come, child. Let the training begin".

☀️ Quest One: Prove your Resolve ☀️
➸ Before the training begins, you must prove to Solas that you are determined
to complete this training and become a great leader. In 100 words or more,
describe what your Skyling does to prove their dedication to Solas.

☀️ Quest Two: Patrol the border ☀️
➸ Around the border of the training grounds, Solas has set up several warning
signs that suggest someone or something has been messing around outside your
territory. In 250 words or more, describe what your leader does to investigate
these disturbances.

☀️ Quest Three: Assign the Ranks ☀️
➸ Solas has found three Skylings to stand in as your flight. Determine each of
their best skills and assign the ranks accordingly. Be sure to keep in mind which
ranks are most important, as you've only got three Skylings to assign. In 250 words
or more, describe how your leader completes this task.

☀️ Quest Four: Choose your relic ☀️
➸ A great leader needs a great relic to channel their magic. Draw or describe your
relic in detail and explain why or how your leader obtained this relic. Explain the
significance of the object or material. Be sure to follow the rules of relics, as
shown on the main page. Please remember: Only one relic is allowed per Skyling
at this time; if you do not follow the rules of relics, you will be asked to complete
this task again before moving on.

☀️ Quest Five: Tough Decisions ☀️
➸ Solas arranges a fake scenario of a natural disaster. In 500 words or more,
describe how your leader protects your flight.

Rewards: Congratulations, you've completed your training! Submit a
custom form with up to 3 uncommon edits (or below) for your new leader!
(If you already have a leader, this could be your second in command) This
custom slot does not pass over after the event, so please make sure
that you use it now! Alternatively, you may spend this ticket to claim a premade
skyling from the event page.

You choose to walk the world by night, and moonlight shines through your fur, illuminating the world in a soft white light. You slip easily through the shadows, stalking through the gardens that Solas' children work so hard on during the day. The ground is still warm from the sun's rays. "Isn't it nice?" a soft voice says, Nixis the deity of the moon stands off to the side. She offers to train you to be a leader, one who's confident and graceful.

"Let us roam through the night, my child. There are many things to be done".

🌒 Quest One: One with the Night 🌒
➸ Stand vigil one full night, and appreciate the quietness of the world. This night
is meant to teach you how to be the clam in the storm. In 100 words or more, describe
this night and your Skyling's reaction to it.

🌒 Quest Two: Well Rounded 🌒
➸ Nixis wishes you to take advantage of her blessings, and use your new sight to help
you. Go hunting at night 3 times, using your new gift of night vision to guide you and
help you provide for your flight. In 250 words or more, describe your Skyling's
experience while hunting.

🌒 Quest Three: Assign the Ranks 🌒
➸ Nixis has found three Skylings to stand in as your flight. Determine each of
their best skills and assign the ranks accordingly. Be sure to keep in mind which

uninhabitable. You must find a new place to live, and fast. Your flight is depending
on you. In 500 words or more, describe what your leader does to find this new safe
haven for their flight.

As you slowly approach the tree of life, you gasp in awe at how large it is, The branches hidden in clouds and touching the stars. You hear a soft purr and look around confused only to see a very strange bald thing. Upon closer inspection, it seems to be hairless catlike creature, with a large pair of antlers that sparkle with crystalline flowers. It purrs softly in welcome and stands,
"Welcome child, I am Solomon. Do you wish to speak with the gods?"
