Throughout his entire life, Bramblestep has always dreamed of being seen as his own person, smart, strong, and brave. However, he doesn't have the courage to fight for what he wants to be seen as so instead he is seen as weak and a follower of the warrior code and cats who show more strength then he does. This bothers Bramblestep as he dreams about going down in clan history as the cat who changed something or improved his clan, or even as a cat who fought bravely for his clan every battle. He wants to be seen as a leader and a strong, positive influence for his clan.

Duskcloud often daydreams of a life of adventure- one where he could go where he pleases and explore the world beyond the territory in which he was born. As a young tom, he used to pretend to go on deep sea exploration and come up with different monsters he might face. Now that he's older, however, Duskcloud would love to see what lies beyond the mountainous ranges of the clan's territory and perhaps what other cats or climates the world has to offer.

As he meets with other cats who have traveled in the past, he is awed by their tales of exploration and discovery and longs to experience it for himself one day.

OakLeaf always wondered what life would look like if she had wings. She always dreamed of taking flight over the tall trees, passing by the snow-capped mountains, and see the world from a bird's eye view. OakLeaf always imagined she would have huge, beautiful white wings like a snowy owl that could take her all over, drifting through the air.

She always saw birds flying in the air as freedom. Not that she doesn't like her life now, but OakLeaf has always been curious of the surrounding world. Always wanting to see how high the mountains go and how far the sea can reach.

Harrierpaw trailed his mentor, dreamily watching the clouds.

"Harrierpaw! Are you paying attention?"

"Sorry, Vixensnow," he muttered. He stared at his paws as she continued her lecture.

A shadow flitted past. Harrierpaw glanced upwards, watching the bird of prey that circled above.

He longed to sprout wings that would carry him high into the sky. He would soar, the clouds soft as feathers, the breeze whistling sweet melodies in his ears. He would reach up and brush the twinkling stars in the night sky, and then he'd pluck the moon straight out of the sky, batting it around like a moss ball.

He had the whole sky to himself...

"Harrierpaw!"

Vixensnow's hiss shattered his dreaming.

"Hmm?" He blinked.

"Quit daydreaming!" she snapped. "There's nothing up there but clouds."

As they continued, Harrierpaw glanced quickly at the sky, hoping to glimpse the bird again, but it was gone.

Peace. It seems so simple, something that should be a given in a clan like Ridgeclan. But for Marigoldeyes it’s not, at least it’s not in her mind. No matter what happens, no matter what’s going on her mind is in chaos, it’s a rumbling storm. There’s a reason for it of course and while it’s not the only cause she blames the whole clan. So while her daydream is peace her plan to get her peace is to leave the clan. To destroy it on her way out for everything it’s done to her and heat the fire on her way out. She wants her peace to never end, to never have the chance to end once she’s found it.
