Just a quick update and apology (feel free to skip). Sorry I've not been a part of this species as much. I've been going through some stuff lately and I felt like I had to keep it to myself. I'm still working on it, but I'm back to somewhat better and going to be working to make this species better than ever. Thank you for reading

Basilpaw is a typically happy apprentice. She adores swimming, especially during storms and ìs a great risk lover. She's the kind of cat who never turns down a dare. She's very reckless, obviously. Another thing is her laziness. She's very slow and tired all the time, often recieving taunts such as 'slow slug'. Basilpaw is also very clumsy and finds it difficult to learn. Having failed her assesment twice, Basilpaw finds it hard being the oldest apprentice in the Clan.
Prompt:
1 | Basilpaw's always been teased. Even as a kit she was ridiculed for being silly and 'feather-brained', despite being the largest in the nursery. She became an apprentice along with her denmate Turfpaw, but the other she-cat became a warrior several moons earlier than Basilpaw. The younger apprentice Sloepaw teased her mercifully, but Basilpaw mostly manages to stay positive. After all, Turfblizzard loves her. She's also teased for being childish, even by the youngest apprentice Clownfishpaw.

3 | ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, is something Basilpaw has always suffered from. It was the main reason she failed her warrior assesment, having been distracted and wandering off. Basilpaw is prone to getting lost because of the way she gets distracted and hates having to sit still. She can't help fidgeting and wriggling, and hates being told what to do. The way she manages to deal with this is by talking to her mentor, Tangflip, and Poppystar about it. Luckily, the two older cats were very understanding and are trying to make allowances for Basilpaw.
