Most exciting thing: It was the middle of the night, it was pitch black and then, all of a sudden the air filled with colour, vibrant reds and brilliant blues to the green of the trees in summer. The air chilled my skin but the sky distracted from any other sensory input. An amazing sight only to be beaten by a natural sky phenomenon. Aurora Borialis, it flickered and danced across the sky, deep greens being reflected into the sky to create the ghostly patterns above the glaciers and icy sea.

Most exciting thing: I followed the others, a bit hesitantly. I was admittedly afraid of the dark, but I tried not to let it show as I set my blanket down with everyone else and laid on top of it, staring up at the star-sprinkled sky. The bitter wind was chilly as it set on everyone like a sheet of icy snow, but the grass waved back and forth welcomingly. I closed my eyes and listened to the soft hum in the background when a huge commotion started and people were gasping. I quickly blinked them open to see the spectacular display as little streaks of white cut through the black sky, jolting the stars beside it. Meteor after meteor showered past the sky, oblivious of its spectators. By the time it was over, I wished it would last forever.
