the plant on their head can be real or a clip, its up to the winner really, but it doesnt have any rarity/wont pass onto children unless just as an accessory. ^_^
one extra is okay. up to 500 words or one art piece, but it ends as soon as it hits at the top of page 5, or Feb 25th!

a brief bit about them: Mio is a peaceful friend and self proclaimed protector of nature. He's a feral naga, who avoided being adopted many times by tearing up gardens and backyards of anyone adopted him. Eventually, he was dumped on the side of the road for it. He's uninterested in being tied down, and can be aggressive if needed. But he's much more likely to let you sleep in his den for a night than ever lay a paw on you.

how did that plant get there!!!: When he was dumped, he became badly injured. A large wound had sliced through the top of his head, and he was bleeding quite badly. He passed out, only waking up once to see a bright green glow around him. When he came to, something he thought wouldn't happen, the wound was gone, all traces of it seemed to never exist. The only thing there, was a small plant. He doesn't know how, but he believes someone saved him. The plant is his memory of that, and he takes the best care of it always.

how did that plant get there!!!: He was born with it! Nobody knows how its possible, since his parents were both pretty ordinary. But there is a rumor that his mother was barren and his father was a plant wizard, casting a spell on his mother that allowed her to have a child...

a brief bit about them: Rena is a gardener extraordinaire its a real talent for her. she owns a large garden center on the north side of the city near the park that specializes in events, house, rooftop plants, and gardens. she adores all plants and if you bring her a sickly or wilting plant she will always try her best to restore it, creating a bit of a plant hospital in her garden center. her second favorite hobbie to plants is cooking. she grows many edible plants out of her own garden that she cares for on the roof of her apartment building. when interacting with others she is known to be an eccentric, bubbly loveable gal who can talk your ears off at a moments notice.
how did that plant get there!!!:
that plant is actually an accessory! its attached to a headband that sits just behind that top hair tuft. the band is the same green as her hair tuft. it's her favorite accessories and she never leaves home without it.

a brief bit about them:

He is actually a aspiring botanist.
He wants to learn the best of everything that plants are and what they offer.
He even experiments with them to see if he can create some amazing never-before-seen plants as well.

He is rather emotional and gets offended easily. Some would call him a crybaby.
He believes he feels more strongly about things than others do and he doesn't mind.

Befi is very very passionate about his work and plants in general.
So much so that he will flip out if you step on a flower or ruin a perfectly good plant.


how did that plant get there!!!:

Befi has been going through a lot lately and has had trouble keeping up.
Everything is just so overwhelming and the older nagas had their life together.
Especially about who they are and Befi didn't know who he was or what he wanted to do.
Surely not be owned as a pet or an angry experiment like the contained ones.

He was walking through a burned down experimental area that was long since abandoned.
The scientists seemed to never put down this gene splicing and what not so they'd always build something new anyway.
He thought; "What could be so special and unique about all of this. What are we here for now?"
As he stepped through the rubble he stepped on a plastic edge and jumped back at the pain with a sharp hiss.
He licked his paw in case it was punctured but soon stopped to look and saw a green clip that resembled a sprout.
He was confused why such a thing would be there.

Curiously he swept some rubble away to reveal a little more. It was clovers and other little sprouts. Real ones this time.
They were growing through the rubble. How? A plant can grow from such a mess like this? Are plants really strong?
He felt inspired by this display and kept the clip close to him. From then on he made it his goal to create
something beautiful out of such a mess. If a plant can make it through such things and come out beautiful
then why couldn't he do the same?
