Brindle is a chimeric mutation that has a 10% chance to pass down. Black and Bay brindle can only pass down to chestnut based offspring. If she has a black or bay foal where brindle passes, it will be chestnut only. Each of her brindled offspring will only have a 1-5% chance of passing it down, and their offspring won't be able to pass it down any more. This is true for all genetic mutations.
(I use random number generator for mutations. For example, if I was breeding Ena I'd roll for her brindle mutation three times. The generator min number is 1, and maximum is 100. Since its only 10%, the foal will only have brindle if the number falls between 1 and 10. 11 and above means no mutation.)
