Username: PuppygirlWillow
Name: Archie
Pack: Willow's Reserve
Rank: Member
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Prompt: Archie is one of the younger members of the pack, and as such, is almost a 'big brother' or 'host' of sorts for those who are newly arrived or just joining the pack. His job is to essentially show new Nox around the Reserve, introduce them to the members of the pack and the ranks, and basically be a port of call for any sort of assistance they need. He is amazing at his job, and though it's hard to think of one particular standout moment from all the others, Willow would have you know that she glimpsed the most touching thing she had ever seen.
Sierra, the young Beta, had been having a particularly bad day, and had been partly responsible for some prey escaping on a hunt. She was feeling quite rotten, and particularly because it has almost caused injury to one of the other Nox. She was hiding from the others, and trying her best to 'become invisible'. The Alpha had tried re-assuring her, but the young Nox was too distraught and ashamed to listen to her mentor, or any words of reassurance.
There was one Nox, however, who knew just what to do, and Archie simply approached the Beta in training, settling down next to her, not touching, but just laying there, not saying a word. He didn't move or ask any questions, and eventually, Sierra let out everything, while the other pack members just lay there, listening, not saying a word. When she was finished, he gave her a gentle, reassuring lick on the muzzle, told her that she was special, and that she should go to bed and wake up in the morning ready for another good day. No attempt at trying to make her feel better except exactly what she needed- support and appreciation in a way she was able to feel comfortable with.
The two Nox have been close ever since.

Congrats! I’m very sorry for the long wait, as I’ve been quite busy.
