"Country road take me home, to the place I think... I might know."
I bound down into my car and head down to a place that I might have known. However, I don't know what if I do or not. It's a distant memory that I can almost hold in my hands, but it fades out and becomes too fuzzy before I can clearly see it. After repeated dreams and foggy members, I decided to try and find the small memory in my head. I begin my journey to meet the memory that has been clouding my head.

"I hear the wind whisper through the trees, guarding around my house."
I arrived at the home, the cabin in my memories. It was an average size cabin with a rustic vibe and I find myself gazing into the trees that surround the house. They whisper to me, whispering such words and ideas into my head and through my ears. I head into the cabin as the bitter winds become too much for me to bear. Snowfall begins to coat the windows as the sun sets.

"It rustles through the night because I am restless too."
As the sun faded into the night, I could hear howls piercing through the night. But the deer seem to not be afraid of the sharp howls near my cabin. Instead, they lurk closer and closer to my cabin. Their blank expressions as they gaze into my cabin. I felt weirded out by them so, I refused to make eye contact with them.

"Bending and twisting through the night, and spilling into the day."
That night I dragged myself into my bedroom and tried to catch a glimpse of sleep. However, when I finally fell in sleep I found myself in the woods outside of my house running. I was running and finding it impossible to outrun the unknown force behind me. I could never see "it" but I just got that feeling deep inside my soul to run as far as I could. I woke up in a cold sweat in my bed panting.

"Waking into the night, our eyes fill with sunlight."
The sun was now softly rising up from the ground. With that rising sun, I felt the sudden urge to run out of my cabin. I burst open through the door in the soft mist and discovered a large elk peacefully sitting in the middle of the deer heard. The elk was like the soft mist, nearly transparent to the eye. Its eyes locked with mine and it softly made it's way over to me.

"Now the fire will forever last, burning within our eyes and soul."
My thoughts of the magnetic moment where cut shot when the Elk reared it's head up. Its eyes focused on the left side of the cabin. With that, the deer and the misty Elk disappeared from sight. I felt an odd strength of courage overtake my body as I slowly made my way over to the side of the house.
There lies the misty Elk, slowly passing away gazing into my eyes.
The rest of my journey remained with helping the Elk and resting within the cabin. The last night I spend at the cabin I cared for the Elk who had now become a strange friend of mine. I closed my weary eyes as I curled up in my bed. Within the dream of that last night, I was among the herd of deer guiding them into the night. When I awoke the next moring the Elk was gone.

"The End.."
