Favorite Weather: snow. aspentuft is in love with the snow! while many cats may be bundled up in their dens, or complaining about numb paws, aspentuft has never noticed the cold. not to mention hunting is all the more fun when you can pounce up in the air and land in a deep snowdrift! (an excuse to play, of course). There has always been something about a blizzard that tugs on her heartstrings. The spring in her step that winter brings helps to keep morale high during the colder months, and her antics in the snow never fail to make even the grumpiest of clanmates crack a smile.

Applepaw leaped through the brush, fascinated as the little balls of ice fell to the ground. He pounced on them, puzzled as they faded away beneath his paws. His mentor, Littletail, looked on, amusement written all across her face.
"What?" he asked, tilting his head.
"It's just..." Littletail hung her head, smirking good-naturedly. She let out a faint snort of laughter.
"It's just what?"
"It's just hail!" she said, extending her neck towards him and raising one eyebrow. "Hail."
"Exactly! It's hail!" Applepaw replied, bouncing over a tree root and pouncing on another hailstone.
Littletail shook her head and smiled.

Despite growing up in a desert, sandstorms were not very common. The only sandstorm Dune witnessed was as a kit. Her camp was well constructed, but against winds of such power that the ground leapt up to bite through fur, the clan would retreat to emergency burrows. Upon emerging, everything, even cats, would be the same dusty orange and the world was swept clean.
