Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

My first design as a GA! Decided to start off with an uncommon, I feel like I have a few unedited Flitz to make to make up for it now xD but I had this idea stuck in my head and I just- it couldn't let me go, you know?
Sidenote - all main coat colors are in the upper section of the color pallette, the lower row is for the nose, mouth & hair colors
I really really hope I didn't mess anything up with the design or edits, or this post, JESUS that would be awkward

This design is based on one of the slavic demons - a vodyanoi, or a drowner, among other names. People who died by drowning were believed to turn into vodians and lure others into their waters; they were constantly dripping water, and if they stayed in a single place for too long, they would leave a puddle.

Personality: Breasal is timid around others and can often be found muttering to himself while wandering his favorite marshland. He can be skittish and would rather flee than...well, anything else. He prefers to be alone. Not out of spite or even because he’s shy, but because deep down he feels others don’t understand him as he is.
How do they feel about water? Breasal rather enjoys water. He may not be seen swimming around or splashing about, but he does often enjoy watching it. The fact it casts his reflection is rather intriguing. He is also amused at watching ripples fan out only to bounce back upon hitting an obstacle. Despite this repulsion, the tiny waves always go back to reverberate seemingly forever. Breasal is fascinated with making ripples and watching how they move.
What is their favorite flower? His favorite flower happens to be a type of orchid

Personality: Slick, sly, chill, risky.
How do they feel about water?
Dally personally doesn’t like water. Once in his childhood, a few Flitz thought it would be funny to shove him in a neighboring pond, so that’s what they did. Dally didn’t know how to swim, and had to be rescued. Dally knew it obviously wasn’t the water’s fault, but he is still weary of it till this day.
What is their favorite flower?
Dally’s favourite flowers are definitely Dahlias. It reminds him of his mother, Daliliah, due to her name being similar to Dahlia, as well as her always bringing in fresh Dahlias to liven up the place! Dally loves him mother dearly, and has great respect for her!

personality: megfullad is a rather odd individual. not one
that many can understand, they tend to keep to themselves.
they're a quiet, observant soul, who tends to hold a neutral
stance on the majority of things they are faced with. they are
often fascinated with the simple things normally overlooked.
it's a difficult task for them to get angry over something, but
they do have strong opinions.

Flit name: Weasel
Personality:
In life, Weasel was a pretty relaxed guy who enjoyed meditating, alone time, and enjoying nature- especially being near lakes or rivers from a safe distance. He never really put himself out there much, as he was terrified of being rejected like he'd been so many times in the past. Hence the reason he could most often be found on the outer rims of society rather than out and about in the middle of all the hustle and bustle; cutting himself off and rejecting others before they can do the same to him. In spite of all this he could never really seem to stop himself from chiming in-or at the very least keep himself from ease dropping whenever he hears someone talk about poetry or anything related to art as he loves the topic of self expression through means other than spoken words. He found it easier to show the world who he was and what he was passionate about through his actions-even if he never shared his works with it. After he died he regretted not putting himself out there more and trying to find a group he could belong to. As much as he wishes he could have changed his life or chosen not to go down to the river that fateful night, he's not sure he'd be able to even if he was given that chance now as approaching others is still difficult for him to do even in death. As his presence terrifies other, and he himself is terrified of being rejected by those he so desperately wants to talk to. Especially since he now knows that what's worse than rejection can only be eternal loneliness, even if it hurts super bad to be rejected in his already incredibly lonesome state.

How do they feel about water?
His feelings are somewhat mixed as he is nothing more than a ghost of a young flit who can't help but find himself drawn to the river, deep within the currents of the swiftly moving body of water which took his life and left him at the bottom of the lake that marked the end of the racing water. In essence, he absolutely despises any and all kinds of bodies of water, puddles, ponds, rivers, rain specks- all the water- but is only ever seems to be visible when he's either in the water or shivering cold in the falling rain. Since it's the only time he can be seen he can't help but also feel somewhat grateful for it and look forward to rain clouds in the sky, despite it feeling like he's wearing wet socks on where ever he's wet. Overall it's a tad confusing to describe his feelings about it, being that in life he was terrified of lakes and rivers, and now feels his fears of water are justified as it was the cause of his demise, but can only ever interact with other when he's saturated with water.

What is their favorite flower?
Weasel's favorite flower has always been Dahlias. He's not sure why, but finds himself incredibly drawn to their dragon scale petals as well as their bright colors. He just overall thinks they're a pretty great flower, especially since their so easy to grow.

The dictionary defines an Arroyo as “a deep gully cut by an intermittent stream.”
Personality: Arroyo is your typical red neck kinda guy. He loves all sorts of outdoor activities, mudding being one his all time favorites, and he never backs down from a dare. Arroyo can be a bit showy and obnoxious at times but I'm the end he is great friend who will always have you back.
How do they feel about water?: Arroyo loves water. He often goes swimming or fishing in the nearby ponds and his favorite activity isn't possible without water.
What is their favorite flower?: While Arroyo cam come across as obnoxious and someone who would turn their nose at anything that isn't dangerous he loves all sort of flowers and have his own garden. While he does have a large assortment of flowers, his favorite happens to be the Water Hyacinth.
