So like I said in PM earlier, I didn't want to win a viscet I didn't have a solid idea for - I really don't like doing that as I feel it takes away a viscet from someone who could have really connected with it. And while I could have requested to back out, I truly feel as though retracting a solid bid that climbed higher than the original chain would be extremely unfair to the artist -- as I've made that mistake once and I would never do it again. My impulse got to me here, but I'm still so happy to pay a good amount for the stunning design that came out.
Regardless, I went ahead and decided to let this child go to someone who does connect and have ideas for them;;

Vanora is an associate (underling) or sibling to Merula. Like Merula, she deals in some magic but unlike her, her magic isn't strictly used for making deals or luring unsuspecting victims to their demise. Instead, she likes to dabbled and play with individuals lives and fate, throwing more things of chance into their lives. She does it mostly for her own amusement but often times her dabbling does more good than bad to her "victims" much to Merula's disappointment. She has a naturally beautiful and melodic voice, just as entrancing as any siren's call. One she didn't have to steal from a true siren as Merula did but she rarely uses it.

Vanora bores of helping with Merula's dirty work or of working beneath the sea in general and instead decides to take up the mantle of Captain of a pirate crew (something she finds to be far more of interest). She takes the name of "Nautia" (meaning from the sea) and strictly goes by it as the Captain of a fearsome pirate crew. She aims to find a successor to take over her roll as captain but still intends to roam the seas as a terror in her own right.
