To put in the simplest of terms, Aslaug fears being powerless. When she was a pup, her family was among the poorest of harvesters in the Farmhills districts. They were looked down upon, beaten, and starved under the ruthless alpha who reigned during the time. In his eyes, they were worthless because they could not meet their weekly quotas - and he made sure they felt that way. Her and her family could do nothing but take the bruteish force.
