About the Dino!
Nickolas is mostly known for being a trickster. Often tricking his potential victims into believing that he is both frail and weak. Before using his speed to his advantage, and stealing from those who were foolish enough to fall into his trap. However, he only chooses targets that he can handle, never ones who can actually both catch and kill him. Not to mention that he only takes what he needs in order to survive and nothing more. Proving to be both calculative and considerate, when it comes to making decisions involving food.
However, he can also be kind and compassionate. Showing sympathy to those who have either lost a loved one, or are simply down on their luck. Going out of his way, just to try and cheer someone up. Whether it was doing something goofy to make that person laugh, or simply lending a shoulder to cry on. It doesn't matter. All that matters to him, is lending at least a little bit of support to those in need of it. Unfortunately, this side to him is often overshadowed by his 'trickster' reputation. Making it sometimes difficult for him to lend assistance to those in need of aide.
What many don't realise, is that Nickolas is secretly insecure and anxious. Often needing to do something, just to keep his mind from falling into the abyss. When around others, he is seen as both a clever trickster and a caring friend. But when behind closed doors, he is the complete opposite. Which is why he often gives himself little tasks to distract himself with. Such as either making flower crowns, or simply going out for daily runs. Anything to keep him from slipping back into the darkness that sometimes tries to cloud his mind. Which explains why he refuses to fight others, and would rather hide away. He may seem confident, but it is nothing more than a façade to protect himself.
Nickolas doesn't have many friends, due to him preferring to keep to himself. Mainly out of fear of either being betrayed or abandoned. Those who he has befriended, will often remain unnamed. Due to his desire to protect them from those who wish to try and cause them harm. However, when it comes to enemies, he has many. Mainly other carnivores that he has stolen from. Some of which have actually came close to killing him, time and time again. Which is why he often tries to distance himself from others.
Daily runs. It is no secret, that Nickolas is energetic. No matter what he did, the hybrid just can't seem to sit still. Both his mind and body often screaming at him to run. Doesn't matter where, just as long as he can feel the wind rushing in his face. Often coming back with tales of his adventures, and what new things he had came across during his run. He would even playfully race against others, just to see how fast he truly is. His energetic attitude even shows when he is excited. Sometimes accidentally talking a little bit too quickly, before he is told to slow down and to repeat what he had said. Much to his own embarrassment.
Due to his unusually high speed, Nickolas has developed quite a high metabolism. Meaning that he goes through food faster than others. Causing his energy to burn quicker. While this isn't exactly a major problem, it is still something that slows him down. Considering that his body needs energy in order to properly function. Which is why he often steals food from others. Mainly because it prevents him from having to fight over a carcass and risk getting an injury. However, he is still quite capable of hunting for himself, and will often do so when his energy isn't low.
Flower crowns. When Nickolas isn't tricking someone and stealing their food, he can sometimes be found making small flower crowns. Something that he has long since discovered to be relaxing. As well as enjoyable. The reason behind this, is because it is one of the more happier memories that Nickolas had of his youth. Plus, it helps keep his mind both distracted and calm. While it can become difficult at times, due to his sharp claws. He still manages to find time to make them. What is even more surprising, is that he then offers them to others. Either as a peace offering, or simply to cheer someone up.
