Ancient China.

Pawing through records of old documents on the kings and queens of old is a bit like watching a soap opera from across the street through an open window with a telescope- while perhaps the most major of things can be gathered, so much is lost in the trappings of the medium. But at the same time that encourages a level of creativity. Three husbands, each having murdered the last- how must that have felt? Though she can't hope to understand, not without the full story- she can try. And that's half of the fun.

My... My favorite time in history?
Well,I have to say it's th-the victorian era and the industrial revolution in England! All the fascinating inventions and... and the poems and books written in this era! Gosh, novels from authors in th-this period,like the novels of Robert L. Stevenson are so exciting to read! E-even for... the tenth time... Oh! And the stories of Sherlock Holmes too!
And then the new ideas of philosophers and scientists! I-I have to say Charles Darwin was certainly an interesting person to learn about!
The clothes are w-worth mentioning too! Ah I just love those old top hats th-th-those gentlemen wore!
Oh my,I could go on and on about how m-much I like this era but I have to go back and work on an invention I-I've been working on!

but what really intrigues him is prehistoric peoples. he is mind-blown by cave paintings (particularly
those in chauvet) and the stories they hold before a time with written language. there is a certain
