Personality;; Iara is a tough mare and doesn't put up with anyone looking down on her. Getting her to smile can be quite the chore and jokes tend to go right over her head, or maybe she is just not laughing or smiling because she doesn't want to. She can be strict when she is trying to get a lesson across, and she can be somewhat of a perfectionist. She was very serious about her position as a warrior and was a fierce fighter, not the easiest sparring partner to deal with as she did not show much mercy beyond not killing her partner. As a dancer she is just as serious and does not always work well with a group, taking over and trying to make the dance perfect, sometimes scaring other away from practicing with her. She is loyal though and would never abandon someone or leave them to fight on their own if she can. Water is one of the few things that calm her. She likes to sit next to a stream or waterfall and listen to the water running past, it's one of the very few things that manage to make her smile. In terms of men she tends to be attracted to gentle giants but has a nasty habit of scaring them away. She is working on being nicer but her perfectionist side tends to take over in many situations.

Ruth always has a smile on her face and a spring in her step, one of the more optimistic mares in the herd. Holds most in a positive light and happy to talk to anyone who passes her path. The mare is a little immature, unable to understand the seriousness of most situations and it doesn't help that her uneasiness can manifest in fits of giggles. Ruth always tends to reuse the same joke over and over once it has gotten a good response from others but can be amusing when Ruth tries new material. While Ruth wants to do anything for her friends, the mare lacks the courage to step up and face real danger. That is something she truly dislikes about herself but has come to terms that this is who she is. A patient and sweet mare, Ruth only wants to make others laugh, even if at times she isn't very good at it.
