First Name: Ren (Water Lily); given to him by his parents. He liked it generally, but felt awkward when its meaning was brought up. He wanted to be seen as a strong, tough fisher rather than a sweet and gentle flower.

Middle Name: Zale (Strength of the Sea); this name was given to him as more of a luck totem rather than anything else. His parents wanted their boy to be strong enough to catch the fish they hunted. He admired this name and gradually began to introduce himself with it more often as he grew older. Not only does he like the meaning, but he likes it's uniqueness, as he feels Ren is used a little too often
