name meaning;;
"Doc Savage, full name Clark Savage Jr., is a fictional superhero character from the Doc Savage Magazine originally printed from 1933 to 1949, though there has been many publications in both the 20th and 21st century. Man of Bronze is one of Doc Savage's notable aliases."
When I first saw this boy the show name 'Man of Bronze' popped into my head, and I couldn't shake it. His shiny coat reminds me of bronze and the name 'Man of Bronze' seemed very similar. Honestly I don't know why it was familiar, since when I looked it up the results were for the movie, Doc Savage: Man of Bronze...and I don't have any recollection of much prior knowledge of Doc Savage or the universe that he lives in. Though I think that both his show name and barn name are interesting in their own right, and I will be researching more about Doc Savage: Man of Bronze.
personality;;
This gorgeous stallion was named Doc Savage as a young foal less to do with his personality and more to do with his breeder's love for comics. In his younger days, D.S. was a lively colt who seemed to love to goof off and could never seem to focus on one thing at a time. His breeder and trainers couldn't seem to get through to him and they deemed him unfit for a discipline, though they admired the metallic shine to his coat and decided to keep him as a stud. Doc was left for almost a year before a new trainer came along and discovered that the stud had some of the superhero's traits after all. Under his new trainer, Doc became a well disciplined and determined horse. It turned out that D.S. was very hard-headed and he determined when he was ready for training; and once he was he put all his might into it. With training, Doc Savage turned into a completely different horse-one of few emotions other than passion and mental strength. He was trained as a show jumper, which he excelled at since he loved the challenge of each new course.
