Feather tails are a species similar to a fox, with feathers for tails.
Feather tails live in the forest of Penketh, in small groups called packs. These packs can be anywhere
from 2 to 20 FT's, mostly related, but doesn't have to be. •This species only bonds in MxF pairs. In the
wild, Ft's mate for life, and can only breed with their mate. Baby Ft's are called quills. They receive
their Jars when they are a week of age, and the color seems to choose them. No one quite knows where
these orbs come from, only that they are filled with the life force of the individual and must, therefore,
be protected.

All she wanted to do was take a small stroll through the forest they lived in,
just like she would on any other weekend. She didn't anticipate an angry
feather-tailed wolf like her flying down and grabbing her sides by the sharp
talons on his smaller set of wings. When she tried to struggle, the wing cut
deep into her side, and the wolf's back paws brought their claws though
Rillo's feathers. When she was finally able to squirm her way out of the bat-
winged wolf, she fell a good twenty feet before landing on her side. Her
feathers were gone, she had a gash in her side, and fear ate away at her.
She didn't want to get up. If anyone else saw her like this, she'd surely be
made fun of.
