Chrysaora Basilisks #564| Adopt

Postby TeaParty » Fri Mar 09, 2018 4:15 pm

      username;; Sheepishlie
      link to form;; xXx
      name;; Quintus
      gender;; Stallion
      eye colour;; Fire Ant
horn/hoof material & rarity;; Amber (containing a flower of Strychnos electri) // Uncommon
      phenotype;; Black Roaned Tobiano
      genotype;; Ee/aa/TT

Note: This chry is not a true roan, it just displays roaned markings, which are relatively common in tobianos.

Amber is neat because it often traps small organisms, preserving them perfectly. Tell me what small thing is inside this chry's horn. c:

What's in the Amber?: A mosquito of course! Those little buggers always seem to get in all the wrong places at all the wrong times. I mean, Jurrasic Park wasn't formed by a stink bug! The pesky mosquito's could hold the blood of an ancient creature inside of them!

how much do i sound like a car salesmen rn, or those late night infomercials ?? lol

What's in the Amber?:
A Granny's Cloak Moth is resting oh so nonchalantly as it appeared to think that this chrys horn was just another stalagmite in the chrys cave.

What's in the Amber?: A beautiful, amazing, stunning, Luna Moth! (Here’s a pic: https://www.google.com/search?q=luna+moth&client=safari&hl=en-us&prmd=ivsn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjV2-Sk6-DZAhVL2GMKHXjFCewQ_AUIESgB&biw=768&bih=922#imgrc=KbhFYV4UyUb6iM:)

What's in the Amber?: Many seem to have similar reactions when they soon come to realise what’s in Kuro’s horn. Fear and shock are often the more usual expressions because Kuro’s horn contains a centipede

What's in the Amber?: Much like this Chry’s faux roaning, their amber horn encases a faux snake - a legless lizard to be precise. The tiny, harmless thing couldn’t do much to escape its tomb, but still catches some people off-guard when they see it!
