this phalagie floats all the time, sometimes appearing to be immune to gravity. however, they just naturally hover constantly. their heartbeats make them hover. the curly growth you see to the right of the phalagie is a muscle that releases the gas inside the phalagie. the gas usually smells sweet, like perfume.
they can be seen traveling through the air at their own pace, often pushing their way through.
