Oh no... Oh no, no he can't go near them. He keeps seeing others drag their dates/mates/friends under the mistletoe for all kinds of cute kisses from pecks on the lips to little forehead smooches. Every couple that moved to the doorway had Pollux's insides churning. He wanted to get up and tell his crush how he felt but oh goodness he didn't know where to begin! How could he just get up and casually admit months of pining? Just like that? The idea had him fidgeting awkwardly on the couch.

"I never thought I'd see you at a party like this."

Pollux jumped out of his skin, letting out a nervous chuckle as Raz set down next to him, scooting in close. Oh god he's right next to me. He's sitting so close. Hi leg is touching mine. Relax, Pollux. Relax... It was a bit extremely hard to focus with the warmth of his crush so close. Right there. And the mistletoe hanging barely 10 feet away.

"Pollux? Are you listening? I was asking if you wanted a kiss under the mistletoe, haha! From one friend to the other?"

Was there actual fire on his face? Maybe? It sure felt like it as his whole face lot up in a bright red blush to rival the lights on the tree. Goodness, Raz was going to be the death of him and he wouldn't even mind it.

"Wh-what? A kiss? Oh! Yeah. Sure. I mean. If you don't mind."

Raz just grinned, not saying a word as he leaned over and pressed a little kiss to Pollux's face. Whispering a soft 'I like you too.' before standing and hurrying off. Pollux didn't miss the bright blush that had caught on Raz's face now too.

His brain was a mess of fried wires, but all he could focus on was one point.

It wasn't under the mistletoe!
