This one's gonna be a little more chill than the other ones currently going on, though there's some rules to follow when posting, so make sure to pay attention!

You can try out for all three.

IF you are trying out for all three, you must keep them as a group, and you must develop them as to why they are a trio. Including a backstory, personalities, and group dynamics is a must.
Winning all three of them will also turn them into a Trio, meaning they will be inseperable during all future transactions, such as gifting or trading.

If you are not trying out for all three, then you must only try out for one.

You must not use mental illness / instability in your forms.

I realize that I hint at danger in these designs, but it's your job to explain other reasons they look so...unstable, in their forms.

This is a much simpler form competition

You are to provide a gif or a picture that suits them, and you must provide a small backstory and personality for them. You are also, as always, allowed to provide artwork, at a maximum of one image.
Extras including artwork are now unlimited!!

You must indicate if you're entering just for an HM, or if you're applying genuinely for the adoptable.

I would prefer people indicate why they're entering the competition, so that people who want the adoptable get the adoptable, and people who want HM's get HM's. Saying you want an HM won't guarantee you an HM, but it'll make sure the Poncho Pal goes to a home that wants it.

Ghost (#46)

Personality: A bit paranoid, but mostly about others' safety. They wish to keep everyone safe and out of harms way, however, this is very difficult and will be explained in the background section. Ghost is very caring and is almost motherly. They make sure they treat everyone with respect and cherish them, just in case something happens to them. They fear the last conversation they had with someone before they died was an argument. However, more recently, they have become more carefree and impulsive. Ghost is still very protective of their friends and still refuses to harm anyone if they can.
Background: Though Ghost considers it more of a curse, they were blessed with a gift. Ghost can see multiple timelines at once. The thing is, they don't know which one they are in. They have seen their friends die multiple times and even themselves die. Each decision they make results in a new timeline. It has really taken a toll on Ghost, seeing all the possibilities, what they have done under certain circumstances. However, they try their best to use this power for good. For example, they will try to warn the next person about their up coming death, telling them to stay inside that day, or don't answer the phone at a certain time of the day. It doesn't usually work, but the few times it does, it gives Ghost some closure. Skip many years into the future, Ghost finds that no matter what they do, someone will always get hurt and there will always be a different timeline where they were not able to save someone. It was then that they started using the power for mostly themselves, making sure that they are in the timeline that best benefits them. Why live a life of stress when they could live one of fun. This is what initially started Ghost's life of crime. They soon became apart of a group called the Lost Causes. Ghost uses their gift in order to guide the team to a successful outcome, whether it be robbing a bank, stealing jewelry, or, and most importantly, not getting caught. A small sliver of the old Ghost still remains inside though. Whenever on a mission, Ghost does still try to keep others out of the groups harm. However, if that interferes with the outcome of success, they won't do anything against it. Besides, there is another timeline out there somewhere where those people are unharmed by the group's actions, right?

Scape (#47)

Personality: Scape can be very passionate and does not trust easily. She does not like the police or anyone associated with them. Her view of justice is a bit different than others, but she does believe in it. Scape can be very headstrong and holds grudges. She doesn't always know her own strength, but is very gentle around the other two. She hates being accused of things she did not do.
Background: Scape is very unfortunate. She just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Scape was arrested for a crime she did not commit. She was sentenced to go to jail for many years. As she there, Scape faces many challenges. There were people there that she had only met in her worst nightmares. The stay was brutal for a kind soul such as her. Because of this, she decided that she didn't want to go to jail for nothing. If she was arrested for doing crimes, that's what she was going to do now. Shortly after getting out, she committed her first crime: robbery. However, it was during her third crime that things really changed. It was then that she met Ghost, who had happened to be stealing jewelry from the same store she was on the same night. Scape first felt threated by them, but after Ghost helped her escape the police, she began to trust them more and more. It wasn’t long before the two developed the Lost Causes gang. Her role as a part of the team is the muscle. Scape is able to knock people out and defend the group fairly well. She is also look out as needed. As their crimes continued, the Lost Causes started to gain a reputation.

Dolos (#48)

Personality: Dolos is very deceitful and the most sly. He is not to be trusted. There are two different sides to him. One side is his performance side. Dolos acts meek and scared. He is very skilled at acting innocent and making other believe he is the victim. However, he is actually quite the opposite. Dolos can be very sarcastic and doesn't take a lot of things seriously. This can be easily explained by the fact that he is still young (late teens). For some reason, Dolos gets tired very easily and has developed an addiction to coffee.
Background: Dolos is the youngest and the most recent addition to the Lost Causes. He ran away from home and lived among the streets for a while. He got his first taste for crime when he tried to steal food. Although it was for survival, Dolos began to use the survival excuse for all stealing he did. One day he came across the Lost Causes gang and an argument about a piece of jewelry arose. They decided to fight for it and even though they won, the two were impressed by what a fight the kid put up. They ended up offering a spot in the gang and Dolos quickly excepted. Secretly, he had looked up to the gang so the privilege to be a part of it made him super excited. Ever since then, he has been determined to prove himself to the two, even after they said he was officially one of them. This determination has lead to a few injuries, but it does not seem to stop him. At the moment, Dolos's job as a part of the team is to act as bait. The kid is also surprisingly skilled with making gadgets and pick pocketing, so he is also in charge of providing any new equipment.

Personality: extroverted, sly, catto. he likes to scare others and read creepy pasta, which makes him kinda a weirdo in others books.
Background: at the young age of twelve, Kaz decided to commit his first crime. well, specifically setting fire to the neighbors lilies, but still! he enjoyed it.. sadly he was caught in the act, and was sentenced to two mounths of tending to his neighbors garden. this just made him more agitated, so what did he do..? you guessed it, set fire to the garage, then made his escape!

Personalities --


Sketch is their name and they identify with no one gender or the other.
Sketch is a skittish individual who often paces when they're nervous and hides their ears when loud noises are present. They don't take kindly to strangers and prefer hiding behind loved ones and allies over making new friends. Sketch keeps constant track of the time and it seems to worry them whenever too much time has passed and they haven't done anything. They enjoy remaining constantly moving or active and if they sit still for too long they feel like they're really just sitting at a standstill-- living their life on pause. That thought worries them more than anything. Sketch keeps their watch handy at all times despite not having wrists because they never want to waste too much time or sit still for too long. They have a strong belief in the paranormal as well and they're pretty afraid of doing anything at twelve at night, for obvious reason of it being the witching hour. Sketch is full of information due to his shy nature, because it often pushes him to reading instead. When Sketch was young they read lots of horror novels, but now that they're grown they are the intelligence specialist of the trio who serves to gather information for their missions.




Hitch is his name and he identifies with male pronouns.
Hitch is the mastermind of the group, with a snide and condescending way of speaking, he's often the one to get himself into trouble, however. He's been to jail many times on account of being the head honcho of the trio, and having a big mouth, but all the same it hasn't damaged his giant ego. Hitch is bad luck for the people he comes across, quite honestly, and probably not simply due to his black-cat status. Hitch starts trouble and it follows him around, chasing him like debts or rain clouds. The only people tolerant of this enough to stay are Sketch and Clove, his partners in crime. Being a street-rat, Hitch is one with eyes for wealth and he isn't afraid to do semi-illegal things to get his hands on whatever shiny thing he can. He's a smooth-talker, but his large ego and narcissism get him into fights with people and sometimes into jail. In his spare time Hitch enjoys singing-- not any song in particular, just singing for the sake of it. Sometimes he stays up late into the night to watch the moon and howl into it with whatever song comes out of his heart. He's somewhat of a Tramp (Lady and the Tramp style) but he isn't bothered by it, in fact he thinks his tough criminal background makes him quite appealing to the ladies, thinking his experience with the harsh parts of life make him a real man. If he could hold his tongue, Hitch would avoid a lot of the trouble he lands himself in, however such may never be the case. He really does care about Sketch and Clove, he just absolutely sucks at expressing it.




Clove is her name, and she associates with female pronouns. Clove has a good sense of humor and makes jokes even in somewhat inappropriate situations. She's the morale of the team and she keeps the other two from getting too down in the dumps after repeated failures or jailings. She knows what the group is doing is wrong-- however she doesn't think they have any other choices. She's trying her best to remain positive even in this crumby lot of life, however, because at least she has her friends. Clove's wings are made of an animate, stone-like substance and during various altercations she managed to crack and break them. The tape bands over them were applied by Hitch, when they really couldn't think of any better solutions. Clove wears a blindfold around her mouth to make sure she remembers to hold her tongue around people she doesn't know, because she's quite the social butterfly and she warms up to people very easily. She must be reminded that information between the three must stay that way, for the most part, and other people just can't be as close due to the nature of their private lives. Clove likes flowers and periodically ends up with flower crowns-- which she really likes. She only takes the mouth-bandana off around people she really trusts and she can still move her wings even though they are somewhat damaged.


Background --


The gang grew up as childhood friends forever and a half ago-- being neighbors they all became fast friends, constantly heading out to the playground together and always sticking close to each other whenever they had to be out in public. Truly, the kids grew up as one entity-- they'd always be together and would consult one another before making any decisions. Anyone who asked one of them to a party knew that the other two would be there-- and that was just a given fact of reality at the time. This was many years ago, however-- and life had other things in mind for these children. They grew up and moved out, temporarily splitting apart, and pursued their own independent careers... for a time.




They pursued further education-- moving on to college after high school. They wanted to study math and they really put all of their effort into it. They thoroughly enjoyed their coursework, but never made any friends. They were far too shy to go to events around the school and they spent a lot of their time holed up in their dorm room or online, talking to their old friends-- Sketch and Clove.
