it was the first time she met telsa. so tall and confident she appeared, chest puffed out proudly, yet she knew. so small in sheila's presence, shrinking in on herself, embarrassed by her scar; telsa wasnt comfortable here. so sheila took the initiative and lead her friend to a more secluded part of the park, and soon they arrived in a small clearing surrounded by trees and flowers of all kinds, mushrooms and vines and mossy stumps giving the area an enchanting feel. she laid out the checkered blanket and picnic basket again, gesturing for telsa to sit down while she took out two sandwiches, two bags of chips, a water for herself, and a fizzy citrus drink for telsa. sheila eventually sang a quiet lullaby of sorts--a song, really--one that her mother used to sing to her to calm her down, hoping it might do the same for her anxious friend. with time, telsa was able to relax, and they shared stories back and fourth, talked about their life while munching on strawberries and blowing dandelion puffs into the wind with their hopes of better days and better lives. the sun shone brightly for many hours that day, the trees rustled faintly due to the summer breeze, and the air smelled distinctly like the sea and warm comfort food, despite there not being any around. all around, it was a pleasant experience. they stayed many hours long after, until each star was visible in the night sky, and for what felt like the longest time, just biding time looking for constellations and wishing on shooting stars.

It was midday and scorching hot under the bright blazing sun. Dandelion was sitting on the sea shore pondering weather to go for a swim or not, she was about to go for a swim when her best friend Cinnamon came bounding up to her "Dandelion!"
"Cinnamon! It's so great to see you!!, want to come for a dip?"
"Sure! It's so great to see you to"
Cinnamon and dandelion spent the rest of the day swimming, splashing and paddle together in the water, when it started to get dark they gathered wood, made a little fire, cooked some snags (sausages) and camped out for the night.
