When is their power strongest?: He gets stronger whenever he's feeling proud or accomplished - after winning a contest, for example. Things like fear or doubt weaken him, much to his chagrin. Yeah, sure, make me more powerful at the exact moments I don't need it. He's outwardly very cocky and arrogant as a result of this - "fake it till you make it", they say, and while he hasn't gotten any precise statistics, hiding his worries seems to help his powers.

When is their power strongest?: Gordon’s powers are strongest when he is feeling very strong emotions or thinking about something with instense focus. He sometimes looses control during moments these moments and it’s often made worse when he panics about it. Especially if other people are around at the time. Despite living his whole live with these powers, Gordon fears them a bit because of his lack of control and worries one day about harming someone he cares about.

When is their power strongest?: Taranis' powers are the strongest whenever he is afraid. However, just because they become stronger does not mean he is in control of them. When he is afraid, Taranis' power grows, but it also becomes overwhelming to keep control over. More often than not, Taranis will completely lose control of his powers during this time, which can often cause more harm than good. It makes him incredibly wary of being surprised or freaked out, as the worse his fear gets, the more his powers are loosed. It doesn't help that he is afraid of losing control of his powers, meaning that when he does, that fear just further feeds their strength. Thankfully, he has been trying to work on it more recently, but he's not sure how much good it is doing.
