Alrighty! My power is back on and I'm home from school. So, for this kid I it's going to be a pretty basic comp! I was gonna go with a music theme but my last ufa batch was that ^^ Not gonna stop you from using music though I still love me some music. Vepkhia is a viscet of great renown and respect, his courageous spirit and sense of perseverance making him an idol among many. He's always willing to step out of his way, striving to help others who could use his assistance and work to make their lives easier. He has a sense of loyalty and duty to his people. always protecting them and their beliefs while upholding his own principals. He refuses to kill another viscet, often times causing him trouble as he gives mercy to those who will not show mercy to him. Still, he's not completely ignorant in the cruelties of others. As he says, He can forgive but never forget. He may cast aside punishment for those who wish to repent, but never again will the receive the same level of trust they previously had. Vepkhia will become guarded, more closed off, their relationship will become strictly business. Those who betray him or hurt those he cares for are the biggest exception. He will not forgive those who harm someone close to him, especially considering Vepkhia's traveling occupation means very few get close. And there will be absolutely no forgiveness for those who hurt Babar. His beloved companion has been with him through thick and thin, their soul bond ensuring that they rarely part. To harm Babar would mean releasing the tiger within Vepkhia, a tiger who is a far different from the generous young host.

Nicknamed "The Angelic Tiger". Vepkhia is recognized across the nation as a prominent figure of assistance and representation, though many have never truly seen his face. He wanders the land, healing those he comes across and sending a warning of the darkness which comes. He can sense a rip in dimensions, allowing strange creatures to invade his home and he has tasked himself with defeating these monsters and beasts in order to protect his home. Sometimes he can become a bit reckless, not thinking things through before facing the issue head-on, though Babar normally does well to remind him of his plans. Being rather headstrong as well, his companion is one of the few creatures he would trust with his life, and often he does. He lives a dangerous lifestyle, always moving and always fighting, rarely allowing himself a moment of rest. Yet, he always strives to come home for he knows that there are people waiting for him back at the start.

Vepkhia's closest companion is Babar, a young tiger who shares a very strong soul bond to his partner. You see, these two come from the spirit beast universe, one where each creature on earth has another bonded to it. They're two parts of one whole, tied together by their very life force, leaving them unable to ever part from the other. This bond is very sacred to a viscet, and Vepkhia's bond to Babar is no exception. The two are inseparable, always pushing each other through fond brotherly rivalries and playful banter. Babar, the more soft-spoken of the two, often finds exasperation at his partner's actions, especially when Vepkhia pushes logic to the side at the hint of some action. Still, he holds no resentment for any mistakes his partner might make, as none of their plans ever seem to work anyway so why bother? Vepkhia often finds Babar's scoldings amusing, knowing the tiger secretly enjoyed the rush of adrenaline and the feeling of danger that often came with improvising. Babar is also the voice of reason and responsibility, being the only creature able to talk his partner down from his true fury. Though Babar fears one day, his partner will lose himself to his inner tiger, the companion knows that it is a possibility. He is also aware of how he holds risk as well. Which is why the two made a promise to each other, and why both refuse to bring death to another viscet or their companion. The two fear that, once that line is crossed, there will be no returning.

Babar is very fond of his partner, always willing to follow Vepkhia despite the often odd locations the viscet will travel to. He's a loyal companion, a faithful friend, and a wonderful open ear for when help is needed. He's wise beyond his years, especially being familiarized with the abilities of the dark beasts which are invading their homeland. Also being a quick study, Babar serves as an encyclopedia of sorts for Vepkhia. While Vepkhia is often restless and finds studying location bleary and dull, Babar has vowed to learn all he can so that he can protect his partner. Both Babar and Vepkhia find their relationship and their bond to be above all other importance. This means that the young tiger would even go so far as to sacrifice his life for his viscet, sometimes moving to use himself as a shield if the situation becomes dire enough. Vepkhia is not fond of this idea, especially since he would not wish to carry the death of his friend on his hands. Still, Babar acknowledges that the world isn't as kind as it sometimes seems, and with their world becoming increasingly dangerous, everyone needs some sort of support there for when the going gets tough. Babar is more than happy to be this support for vepkhia, always pushing the viscet to be the strongest he can be and to put thought into his actions.

-- Tokala is a hot-headed and impulsive Viscet, and he often finds that his tongue moves faster than his mind. When he's upset or angry, his emotions have control of his mouth and his brain takes the back seat, often not realizing that what he said was a really, really bad idea until after it's out. He's angered more than a few Viscets with this before, and there's more than a few who greatly dislike him because of an outburst like this, to the point where he's even gotten in fights over something he said without thinking.
- Luckily, he's more than capable of defending himself and others. Having grown up in a poor village with several younger siblings and a constantly absent father, Tokala quickly learned how to defend himself and his family, both from wild animals and from bullies within town. He's smaller than average, and is teased ruthlessly about it. It's a sore point for him, but it does have its advantages. He's fast and agile, and difficult to catch and pin down in a fight, which is great for taking opponents off guard. He does have some difficulty reaching the back of the top cupboard, though.
- Tokala is rather selfless, and prioritizes the safety of others over his own. When his family is short on food, he'll often either eat less or not at all so his younger siblings have more to eat. He'll work just as hard to try and support his family when he's sick or injured as when he's not. Tokala is very protective of those he holds dear, and especially so of his younger brother, as he knows that once he leaves, his brother will be left to support their mother and two younger sisters. His brother often tags along with him on simple errands and chores, and Tokala does his best to teach him the basics. His brother is a quick learner, and is a hard-worker just like Tokala. When he's not following Tokala around, he's usually helping their mother around the house.
- For all his toughness and skill in combat, Tokala's impulsive and bold nature is what put him in the situations that made him learn those skills in the first. Being a stubborn and determined young Viscet, Tokala just doesn't seem to know quite when to quit. He just can't seem to resist making that snide remark as the opponent turns their back to him that just sets them off and starts a fight, and once that fight is started, there's really only two possible outcomes -- Tokala either wins or he winds up unconscious. He doesn't give up, and as long as he has a leg to stand on or something to attack with, he will continue to fight. It takes a very serious threat to get him to back down.
- Though it may not seem like it, considering Tokala's hot-headedness, he's a very clever Viscet, and can be very convincing and persuasive when he tries to be. Having to hunt for food more often than not has left Tokala with a deep understanding of the wilderness and its inhabitants, everything from the tiny and deceptive wood fairies to the vigilant fanged dire wolves of the night. He's taught himself how to create snares and traps through much trial and error, and is also a self-taught archer, as well as being quite handy with a knife. Tokala knows basic math skills and how to read, but doesn't have much of a proper education beyond that since, after the war with the goblins started, he had to start working full-time to help his father take care of their family.
- Tokala is a very hard worker, much like his father. Tokala's father is a fisherman, and spends most of his time out on the water. He used to have a pretty good business, catching and selling fish, but since the goblin war began, business has been getting worse and worse. There's not as many fish as there once were due to overfishing, of the fish he does catch, most if not all are taken by the army to feed the soldiers, and any left over won't even go for full price since so many Viscets are dirt-poor. He rarely brings home fish for dinner anymore, and the occasional fish he does bring back are quite small and aren't enough to feed all six of them. Tokala knows both his parents, especially his father, are stressed, and he ultimately decided to try to help them by hunting for food and in general taking odd jobs around town to maybe earn a few coins. He's often up before the sun, spends the first half of the day working various part-time jobs for those willing to hire him, and spends the second half of the day hunting and helping his mother.
- Tokala, like most younger Viscets, is quite curious. However, his curiosity manifests itself as a curiosity about other Viscets. Who they are, where they came from, what they've done, what they're like, and so on. This usually leads to him bugging new Viscets he meets to no end and asking question after question about them and any stories they tell. Along with this curiosity about others in general, Tokala has an uncanny knack for just knowing if a Viscet is dangerous and if they should be avoided. His gut instinct about dangerous Viscets and situations has kept him out of some bad situations, while his inquisitiveness has landed him in other bad situations.
- Despite this intuition for dangerous Viscets and situations, Tokala is still surprisingly trusting. It doesn't take long for him to considering someone an acquaintance, and an ally or friend not long after that. He's loyal to those he trusts and considers friends, and will go to sometimes insane lengths to fight for them. Though it may not take much to earn his trust at first, that's not to say it's hard to lose his trust. If a Viscet does something to lose his trust, it will be very difficult for them to earn back that trust, if he even decides to give them a second chance at all. The more severe Tokala determines the offense to be, the less likely it is that he'll be willing to put his trust in them again.

-- Tokala heard birds chirping in the branches just outside his window and he groaned. He could feel the distinctive stuffiness in his muzzle and heat in his face that signaled he was sick. He rolled over onto his side and grabbed his pillow, pressing it against his ears in an attempt to block out the birds and maybe get a few more minutes of sleep. After a few minutes of restless fidgeting, he gave up the endeavor as fruitless, and sat up, blinking groggily at the still-dark sky visible out the window. He stood up and slowly descended the creaky wooden stairs to the main floor, where he saw his mother cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Ah, Tokala! You're awake!" his mother exclaimed. There was a few moments pause before she continued, "You seem more tired than usual this morning. Are you feeling alright?"
"I'm fine," Tokala answered. "Just a slight cold." He pulled out one of the chairs and sat with his head resting on his paws on the table. For a few minutes, the only sound was that of Tokala's mother in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
"Hmm...I could've sworn we had more..." his mother muttered.
"More of what?" Tokala asked, lifting his head up.
"We're out of eggs. I must've cooked the last of them for your father." She explained. "Could you run to the market and buy another dozen?"
Tokala agreed, and his mother passed him some coins to pay for the eggs as he headed for the door. Tokala began for the marketplace, which was only a few minutes walk from their house. It was early enough that shops would only just be opening up for the morning and not many other Viscets would be there, which meant that hopefully he could be in and out pretty quickly. He could see silhouettes of Viscets already beginning to move around, setting up shop for the day in the cold dawn air.
As he approached, one of the silhouettes looked over at him and let out a gleeful laugh, and Tokala's heart sank. Looks like it wouldn't be as quick as he'd thought.
The Viscet called out to some of the others ahead of him, "Hey guys! Look who decided to show up early today!" Tokala trotted past and tried to ignore him, but he wasn't letting Tokala off that easily.
"Aww, not even a hello? What, do you think you're better than me, street-rat?" the Viscet continued. Tokala's temper flared, but he just gritted his teeth and growled softly. Now was not the time to be picking fights with the town snob.
"Hey! I asked you a question! You deaf now too? You don't ignore the top percent!"
Tokala felt a paw roughly grab his shoulder and spin him around, and Tokala's anger passed the boiling point.
"Top percent of what? Being a huge piece of wolf dung? Your parents must be sooo proud of you," Tokala shot back angrily.
The other Viscet's muzzle curled into a snarl, and Tokala felt himself mimicking his expression.
"Oh, you asked for it you snide brat!" the bully shouted back.
So much for not picking fights.

sort of a "robin hood" type thief. his family lives in a small, poor village and they barely make enough money to sustain themselves. his father is almost never around - constantly out fishing to try and sell what he catches - and his mother has her hands full with his younger siblings. he does whatever work he can for money or food, but he's not above stealing every now and then. ever since the goblin war began, rising taxes has taken an even stronger toll on the village. the army is reckless and has already pillaged their village for supplies once, and it's not uncommon to see a bunch of soldiers hanging around the tavern in the evening, drunk out of their minds and almost more entitled than the prince. and almost counter-intuitively, having a bunch of soldiers in the area to supposedly protect them from the goblins has actually drawn goblin attention to the village. before, the goblins were happy leaving the village alone, and the villagers were fine with the goblins nearby as long as their presence didn't harm them. tokala has found himself stealing more things more often as time goes on, to try to support his family in these hard times. he doesn't like what he does and feels some remorse for it, but he rationalizes it by telling himself that it's all for the well-being of his family, and his parents never need to know as he promises himself that he'll repay everyone he stole from once the war is over. aside from that, he mostly spends his time out hunting to try and catch enough for them to eat, and when he's not hunting, takes up odd jobs from around town to make what little money he can.

not originally planned, but maybe takes the role of a younger 'cet with a rough childhood who ran away from home to try to become a sort of robin-hood like figure. they're a thief, yet selfless. likely a ferrusinde citizen whose life was devastated with the war against the goblins. maybe saw the army capture asataryth and mika, and followed them back to palace. possibly helped break them out of prison, and then tagged along with them?
