Oleander is a very outgoing and loud kit for her size. She has never been able to take anything quite seriously; constantly turning everything into a joke. Olly is always getting herself into trouble, and usually intentionally. She can be very bold and head-strong, a quality that her parents are (sometimes reluctantly) proud of. Olly is actually very rhythmic and talented musically. She spends almost all her time facing and performing in taverns. She is an extremely talented dancer and has a great sense of rhythm, with a very gypsy-like vibe. Olly is very dearly loved by the townsfolk, performing in small taverns and in the streets of the market, and charming people with her quick sense of humor. She's very witty and smart for her young age and take prides in it, but as quick as she is with her head, she's even quicker with her sharp tongue. Easily frustrated and very stubborn, you better wish yourself luck if you'd like to have a go at it with this little kal. Despite the fact that she can come on quite strong, Olly has a soft side, that she usually shares when with her sister. The two have always been very close, and Oleander loves to perform for her and drag her with her to dance. Although Olly can sometimes seem hyper, she is actually very down to earth when you talk with her seriously and she is very accepting of new ideas.

If the kingdom was under Oleander's rule, she would encourage music, arts and literature to flourish in the community. She'd do her very best to rule peacefully and to spread the warmth and colour of music and the love it brings to all of her people. Although she can be very immature and would likely make jokes out of every political situation, she would never do anything to hurt their people's reputation or safety. Olly would love to be able to shape things up for her city and help it grow as much as possible. Growing up spending her time around all the townsfolk dancing and performing, she has a very strong bond with the people and would do everything in her power to be able to assist everyone's needs. Olly does not want her people to follow her in fear, or lead her in anger, but to be with her as her friends and family. She is loved greatly by everyone who knows her and is very inspired to be able to make others smile.

In sharp contrast to her sister, Djeserit is of a harsher sort. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to call her a realist- and a serious one at that. Her mother had caught her trying to rule in her father’s spot - he was in a bad mood, she’d said. And someone had to do it. Of course, this had been when she’d been younger, and had a limited understanding of how things worked. Her mother may not have meant her to spend a few weeks in the library, reading everything and anything she could get her hands in order to reach that understanding, but that’s what happened.

She tries hard to be mature, but she hasn’t quite reached the pinnacle of it yet- Djeserit has a propensity towards temper, and occasionally storms away from it all. Her seriousness however, is something she was born with. Telling her a joke is like speaking to a brick wall, and expecting it to laugh. She’ll demand you explain it to her though, and its origins, and how it spread- because she loves knowing. She loves knowledge for the sake of knowledge, as reading is her passion.

For her, kindness is not an ingrained trait. She had to learn it - and even now, it doesn’t come second nature. Why should she get along with everyone? Why should she respect those who don’t care for learning? Everyone’s different, certainly, but she doesn’t have to be nice about it. Djeserit has it explained to her- and if the explanation is reasonable, she’ll alter her behavior.

Djeserit’s rule would not be special for her actions. She is not a great leader, one who’d inspire people above and beyond, nor is she cruel, making a name through hurt and pain. She is knowledgeable, and she would make her choices based on that. Of course, this can let her be disconnected from her people- she doesn’t understand the desire to be better. She would maintain the status quo, and she would manage her kingdom like an account, making choices to maintain, but not to improve.

Djeserit wants to know anything and everything. When her mother wanted her to know kindness, she followed her sister’s every step, like a silent and overly serious shadow. She resents being told there’s things her sister can do that she can’t- not because she wants to rule, but because it feels like that’s knowledge that is being withheld from her.
She grew up half in the library, her snout book after book. And when she decides that book learning can’t prove enough, she’ll demand a guard to take her out and explore the things described, wanting to put visual to word.

Her lifelong ambition is to uncover the history of her father’s kingdom - to put a name to the most painful of ibalend’s rulers.

She’s not well suited to leadership. She does not have the ingrained charisma to lead- the charisma and love for the kingdom’s people her sister naturally has. When her sister was proclaimed her, Djeserit decided that meant she would have to be her sister’s right hand- whatever knowledge her sister needed, she would provide.

Djeserit loves her father, for he is the one who sired her, and she loves her position that lets her read what she wants, and have nothing barred to her. Lovely mother. To djeserit, rania is a textbook mother, and she loves her for it. A mother should be there to comfort, and she should be lenient at times and harsh in others. But beyond that, djeserit loves her mother for her closeness. She may be completely different from her in personality, but unlike others, she doesn’t let that stop her from loving djeserit. Rania is the first djeserit goes to when she learns something knew in exciting, and the fond smile on her face as she watches djeserit recite something with her dead serious expression is something she holds dear to her.

Books, she’ll push in thema’s face - explanations, even hand drawn diagrams- and yet her sister retains her naivete. It frustrates Djeserit, because thema is the heir- and that means that thema must be a ruler, and rulers must be strict. So why is she not? She often follows her sister around, trying to understand her.
