Story of how you robbed the nest for the Origin Egg:

[center]Taps a pen on the desk, while reading an email.
Long day at work, 5 minutes until I'm off of work for the day. gasps, and whispers to self. What's this? I glance over at the time, and start to wrap things up. The time hit 6:30pm. (Time gets out of work) I hurried out the door and headed to a park nearby that lead into a forest.

My friend was waiting outside the forest, and waved their hand at me to hurry. I pick up my pace.The friend had sent me a picture of a Dragon. You've got to get here ASAP... You won't believe it, so here is this picture. There is a Origin Dragon living in the forest somewhere. I think there might be a nest or cave that it's moved into. HURRY, meet me outside the forest at the park, as soon as your out of work. As soon as I reached my friend they grab my hand and drag me behind. I almost tripped as we ran in.
We slowed down to a walk, as we had ran a little ways in.

Trees rustle suddenly, louder and louder by the second and moving towards us. I gasp in sight of a fairly large Origin Dragon. It was dark with stripes, and bright red eyes. ..............

I remember I had looked the dragon in the eyes, and the next thing I know is I wake up. *Ouch* what is this? I reach down to grab what was poking me. I take a look and then looked down to see that I was laying down on a pile of bones.
I took a look around, to notice that I was in a cave. Just a few yards away there was a large egg in a nest.

I get up and still hold the bone I had picked up when I woke. I clinched onto the bone tightly as I looked around. After I had scouted and listen to the silence, I move over to the egg silently, and checked it out. I looked around the room for something I might be able to carry the egg in. In the distance there was an old blanket in a pile of random items. I move over to the pile and pick up the blanket. I searched it for holes, then hurried over to wrap up the egg, then I glanced down the hall. I wasn't sure if it was safe. So Grab an old rusty torch, and light the end using the fire pit the dragon has made. I scout down the only opening and wander for about 4 minutes. I tend came across 2 paths. I stand confused looking at both paths unsure, but then noticed a piece of fabric. I move over to take a look. It looked like fabric and color of the shirt my friend was wearing. *I gasp and hurry to make an exit* As soon as I had reached the exit, I saw my friend running towards the cave entrance.

As soon as my friend reached the entrance, they didn't even stop to ask if I was okay, what I was holding, or whatever, They dragged me and *whispered* "Hurry we need to get out of here and quick before she finds us." As we're running my friend pats me on the back, and congratulates me on the egg. She told me "I thought that she might of been protecting an egg." I nod then said "She probably thought that I was dead. I woke up on a pile of bones." *I cringe at the thought* that I had seen a deer that was dead laying next to the pile. She probably was saving the deer and I for later as a meal.

My friend and I reached my house, and we talked about everything that had happen. She did allot of work, but wanted me to keep the egg. She thought that I should have my first dragon. She even said that she had a good feeling about this egg, and that it was meant to be. After the friend had left I thought to myself how I'm going to hatch this egg, what to do when it hatches, how to raise the baby, where I'll teach it, is it's home. I can't let this dragon live in my house. I need to start training it while it's young.

Weeks had passed of me looking up places I could move, that has large and open lands. I had checked a few out but I just didn't feel it. *I sigh as I sit down at the computer* this is going onto week 5 of searching for a new place. I begin to browse, *I gasp when I had looked at some photos of this one house with lots of land* It's also a little private. *I dialed my friends number and told them all about it* We had agreed to go check it out together, and if I got the land we could build a very large brick room for the dragon to grow up in* I decided I wanted to give this dragon something of it's own. I'll check on the egg everyday as I keep it in this heated room, then probably spend sleepless nights with the egg when it's time to hatch.

I'm sorry I rushed the end so it doesn't get to long but just gives anybody who reads it, an idea of the future of this egg before hatched.

Personality: Ebony Skullhead, is very protective over her bone collection. The only people Ebony allows near the pile of pones, are her owner and her owner's best friend. She loves to hunt, but will not kill just for bones. But she will look for left overs, and just clean off the bones. Ebony can be a bit of a loner at times, but is not very hateful. Although if anyone bugs her, they better hide for awhile.

Story of how you robbed the nest for the Origin Egg: Darkness clung to the forest like a second skin. I crept through taking care to be as silent as possible, avoiding twigs and other such noisy things. Lest I alert anything nearby, let alone the mother dragon who was hopefully not guarding her egg filled nest at this moment in time.

There wasn't even a slightest hint of a breeze and the stifling heat was an irritation I didn't need, still even though sweat had stuck my hair to my forehead I carried with the plan. Get to the nest, steal the egg and hopefully get out of the experience unharmed. I kept my gaze on the shadows, if something was lurking chances are it would see me first but it would have less of the element of surprise.

It wasn't too long before I came to the clearing below the cliff, the winding trail that lead up bathed in shadow with the occasional patch of silvery light. A distant roar sent me scrambling in a panic for the path, that was exactly one thing I didn't want. The climb was tough enough in broad daylight but in the depth of night, it was almost killer, my breath escaping in labored pants as I ran. The amount of times I almost fell is too many to to remember and honestly I was more bothered about getting up to that nest.

Stumbling up and over the top onto the flat ground, I allowed myself a moments rest, giving my burning lungs a chance to get some much needed air as I panted. My clothes were sticking to my skin and I gingerly moved my hair from my forehead with a tiny noise of disgust. Gathering myself I lurched forward in the direction of the nest, still trying my best to keep quiet and refrain from stumbling over anything.

It wasn't too long before I cam across the nest, thankfully with no sign of the mother dragon. Reaching out I gently scooped up one of the warm eggs and places it in the backpack I'd brought with me, letting it nestle in the towel I'd shoved in there. Blood drained from my face as I head the steady sound of wing beats. Swearing violently I darted away from the nest, if I could get away with the egg without being seen the mother dragon would not come hunting for her egg. Careening down the cliff side path at full was a ridiculously stupid idea but an angry roar made me glad I'd done i'd done it.

I leapt the last few feet, stumbling the landing but righting myself before I could fall and carried on running, ignoring the burn of my legs and lungs. More than once I almost sent myself to the floor in my haste to put as much space between myself and the furious dragon as possible. It was a small rock that became my undoing, it caught my foot and I stumbled right into a stream, landing face first in the freezing water. The cold was like a lance on my flushed skin and I pushed myself onto my hands knees, shivering slightly.

A rush of of wind announced the presence of the stolen eggs mother and I froze, ignoring the way cold water seeped into my clothes. She didn't seem to notice me and when I felt she was far enough away, bolted for the cover of the trees. There was a large rock nearby, that I could use to hide under until morning. I wouldn't be found there and could easily get back to my waiting ride. I ran until I could run no more, luckily the rock came into view just as I felt I was going to collapse to the floor and not move for some time.

A sigh of relief escaped my lips as I gently lifted the backpack from shoulders and gently cradled it to my chest as I crawled under the rock to await mornings light.

Personality: Strong willed and incredibly stubborn. This is not an origin dragon to cross lightly. Shrike is a dangerous creature to everyone, even the woman who raised must still be careful even though she has his undying loyalty. Most of the time Shrike likes to hunt down the most dangerous of prey he can find (things with sharp horns prove a particularly thrilling challenge.) He possesses an odd habit of leaving at least one of the bones from his meals and taking it for his collection, he doesn't particularly guard the collection but will chase off anything that tries to take any bones on his watch.
