Hazard Cats are long legged felines with quite a few robotic qualities.
Their tails are about the length of their body, split into two pieces,
and connected by some form of energy. The glass screens on their
chest are most commonly known to show a heartbeat, but many other
glowing images can appear there. These images mirror the cat’s
health in one way or another. Some cats have static on their screens,
but beware, those cats are as dangerous as they are rare! The picture
on the screen will always match the color of the cat’s eyes, which
typically have hollowed pupils. Hazards have three eyes, but the center
one is almost always covered with a band-aid or something similar.
This is because of the often dangerous powers that are channeled
through the third eye. Grates on the cats’ sides aid in breathing and
can also emit a steam, sound and mist, as well as a strange goo.
Their large ears allow them to hear potential prey miles away and make
them skilled trackers, but they are easily overwhelmed by too much
noise. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to
fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

Thrush lives in assorted boxes within the allies of a large city. Every day it rains or trash is collected, he relocates to a new box in a new ally. His most common "home" is under the dumpster near a Chinese food restaurant, where an elderly woman who works there often leaves him food whenever there are some leftovers that no one else took home. Thrush has a blanket in which he drags about, from home to home, to use as bedding to keep him warm in the unforgiving nights.
The city in which he lives is very large with many restaurants and residences. Food would generally be easy to come by, but with the large stray population food requires war to win. Thrush, being smaller and younger than some of the other strays, often goes days on end without winning a meal. Even by his favorite nesting spot he'll lose the food he oh so patiently waits for.
