how did he save your life?: This cub has been a constant companion to me. while he hasn't saved my life in a literal sense of the phrase, he has given me a newer perspective on the world around me; opening me up to more interactions, and people that perhaps I wouldn't have talked to on any other day. His outgoing; troublesome personality has caused more than a few problems, but not all of them have been bad. For instance there was one time when we were out for a walk through the city; I was just wanting to get some coffee, since these guys grow up so quickly, I was hoping to get some quality time in the town while he was small enough to be walked. I tied him up outside, but shortly after I had purchased my coffee he came bounding through the door somehow - I found out later that he had snapped his leash. A Gentleman kindly helped me catch and restrain him, only to find that he had a Marra of his own; his was simply too big to be walked about in cramped/densely populated spaces such as this. I got to know more about his companion, while he gave me tips on how to better control mine. After replacing the leash, we spent the afternoon chatting, and enjoying the more open areas of the city. We exchanged numbers at the end of the day, and made plans to introduce our Marras to one another. I gained a friend today; had it not been for this little guy; I porbably would've been secluded in my apartment for the rest of my adult life. I hope to have more days like this, but maybe... a little less boisterous.

how did he save your life?: marts saved my life one day when I was out hiking through the woods, my boy cylus was with me too. We were walking through the woods off the trail I know stupid but off the trail is somuch more interesting so yeah any way we were walking through the forest when this big snake popped out of know where and I am terrified of snakes so this freaked me out, I took off running and all of a sudden I fall through the ground, cylus falling right behind me. I was knocked out when cylus fell on me, when I woke up I saw cylus in the corner whimpering in pain, he must have hurt his wing.
I got up and started looking over what we fell in I honestly didn't know what it was it just looked like a giant hole, I started yelling to see if anyone was around but I got nothing. After an hour of yelling and trying to get out I heard something russle I started yelling louder it got closer, cylus started to growl, I started to back up away from the hole entry but then I saw something that looked familiar a long cat like tail, it looked like cylus's tail but brown and smaller. Cylus started talking to the thing I realized then that it was another marra, after the two stopped talking the small one left. An hour later I thought that it would never come back but then I heard russleing cylus started to chatter it was kittle, the little marra went and got help and ever sense he has been following us
