1 extra;; The water pools far below her, the ocean roaring the background. The island they lived on was thin and scattered with gaps, and it rained every week without fail. It made the other paeus wary of travel, as they faced the threat of plunging to their doom otherwise. Used to weaker gravity, flying took more effort than what was efficient. Gage was not fearful of the holes dotting the land, though, spending most of her time gazing into them. As, when she was not helping the other paeus, she had nothing else to do. Ignoring the warnings, she watched the water everyday, even in the rain.

Opening her eyes for the first time, all she could see was darkness. Wondering if she had perished and was in her version of heaven, she moved her stiff head around, only to find a great round light above her. Knowing she had indeed died, Bái tried to stand up. Her legs shaking and feeling nauseous, she slowly started to make her way around 'heaven'. She stumbled into rocks and trees, and fell into a small pool of water. Feeling a sudden comfort, she opted to say in the water, feeling little sense of gravity like home.

For months, she stayed close by to her pool, sleeping during the harsh day and moving around at night. Bái learned what to hunt and found herself eating more of the earth foods, she felt very uncomfortable eating her fish and amphibian friends in the pool.

Starting out as a youngling in the Nott Colony and being born as the second child to his parents, Balios had always been quite protective and loving over his younger siblings, family members, and close friends he made throughout his travels to different villages and colonies on his native planet. Balios has always enjoyed visiting new places and creating accessories and charms that bring luck and trading them as he goes around.

A vast darkness within a riptide of emotion held her with the grip of a boa constrictor. She squirmed and struggled in discomfort, trying to get away, but each movement only tightened the grip of the invisible beast. She was forced to watch as countless stars swirled in a whirlpool as each one was sucked into the pitch black water before her. With each star whose light went out, she felt her body grow weaker. Finally, as the last star span about and neared the darkness, she could do nothing but watch, her head drooping down from exhaustion. As the last stars light vanished, she woke up sharply.
It was common for her to have dreams like these. She would call them visions, except that everything within them is symbolic. Everything, except for what happens to her. And that is what sent the shivver of ice down her spine.

it was cold.

water smoothed over her as she sank deeper and deeper into the depths, bright eyes tracking the movements of what was around her. the cold seemed to envelop her, consume her, and before long she felt shivers run up her spine.

her lungs screamed for air, but still she didn't rise. she couldn't. she didn't know how.

with a glance down, abzu noticed a mysterious shape moving around, and she could only feel the barest traces of concern. she was doomed anyway; what was this to inevitable? it was a guessing game of whichever got to her first, she thought bitterly.

minutes went by and she was almost gone, she was right on the edge, but something jerked her out of her stupor; it was coming, and fast.

Watched the clouds thin and disappear as the sun sank like a yellow jewel, the world bleeding oranges and reds as it dives between the waves, a sharp gold on the crystal blue sea. 'Palo,' you thought as you gazed at the skies. 'There must be something more for you somewhere. There's something more beyond the ocean.' You always wanted to believe it. Anything to leave this cave. You peer off into the distance, watch the skies turn blue almost purple. Stars dot along like ants and you see the queen start to rise, the pale milk white moon. 'She is their queen and they her subjects...' And still the tug to go, to flee across the oceans, away from this cave, from isolation that you sought your exile within. But to where?
