You are travelling up a mountain when you hear a distinct roar, it was throaty and sounded closer, maybe too close. You walk towards the sound, ignoring all the attempts of the rational side of your brain to stop, then there before you appears a cave. There are jewels scattered across the ground and some are indented into the walls, but there in the corner there is a creature, as you can see its' body slowly moving up and down. You walk towards it, not thinking as you have no idea what it is, as you get closer it lets out another throaty but dry roar. Closer and closer you get, you go to reach forward to touch it but as you do so you kick a rock and it hits a wall and creates a loud bang. The creature head bolts up, and its' body follows, it towers over you as you look up to be greeted with a strange smile from the creature. You take a couple steps backwards trying to see the creature at its' fullest, as its' head nearly hits the top of the cave it walks towards you, making you step back again and again. Slowly you both enter the sunlight and breeze, it stalks out of the cave and just as you get a good look at it, it rushes off up, higher onto the mountain.

This one is an Uncommon Nytron, featuring rare horns, uncommon tail, and a common mane, but they also seem to be wearing a mask made from some sort of skull?

"Why don't I just show you?"

The young male ran across the open span of rock. "I don't see any erupting volcanos here." He muttered. Earlier his friend had insisted that he not go here because of volcanos. He didn't listen. Suddenly a deep hole appeared before him. He skidded to a halt and peered down. Below him was a bubbling space of hot lava. "Maybe their are volcanos." he laughed and turned to run in the other direction but something crumbled beneath his feet. His feet struggled for grip as he fell towards the mass of lava before him. Finally he found a ledge that he cowered on. Amaro's scream of terror could be heard for miles and just like that his friend appeared above the hole, peering in. "Catch this! It will protect you from the lava! Or at least your face." He tossed down a mask that fit him perfectly. His face was already burned from the heat and he put on the mask with no hesitation. A rope landed on the ledge beside him on the ledge. Wait. It wasn't just a rope. A chain more or less, wrapped in rock. With no hesitation he grabbed it and scrambled up it as fast as he could. When he got up he ran as far away as possible. He ran out of breath in a field and he stopped, shuttering. "Are you okay?" His friend asked, coming up behind him. "Yes. Thanks for saving my life but I never will EVER take this mask off." He lay there, panting.

Why do they wear the mask?
They wear the mask as a symbol of power he feels all the more powerful over others while wearing the mask.Sometimes this can cause him to feel invinsable witch can be good in some cases but in others not so much..

Five (5) Years

It is said that a mask can hide your true identity, transform you into another. You can escape yourself, forget what you have done. Cain wears this mask to hide his shame, forget the monstrous things he has done, as well as conceal the scar that marks his face. Hidden behind that bone is a marred face, with it's fur singed in places and a jagged seam forming a ridge across his brow.

Unstable

If one word were to be used to describe the phenomenon that is Cain it would have to be dangerous. Not only does his name suggest of the crimes he committed, but his general predator like facade makes him a creature to avoid. He used to be very family orientated, responsible, and protective. His past has twisted him into a manipulative, capable, aloof bastard filled with self-loathing.

Cain was born alongside a brother. He was called Heylel, another biblical name meaning light bringer and the name of the morning star, Lucifer. Contrary to assumption Cain and Heylel were not raised under religion, but after growing curious about their unusual name the brothers searched for the meaning. It startled them that they had been named after two unfavorable characters from the bible. Whether this was unintentional or not still remains unknown.

In the early stages of their life the two seemed unseparable. They were always doing things together. It wasn't until later in their childhood that Heylel began to drift away. In his colony there was a band of rebels, one that later broke away to form their own clan of Nytrons. If one half of the colony were angels, the other was filled with demons. The leader of the "demons" was trying to corrupt Heylel, Remus wanted the younger male as his pet. Cain grew aware of this fact and attempted to sway his brother from joining them.

The hell-band refused to allow him to leave like, unless Cain agreed to take his brothers place. Agreeing the male began to follow the groups every order. One day, however they forced him to sit and watch as his brother was tortured and killed. He was warned that if he tried to leave he would suffer the same fate. He blames himself for his brothers death and still follows under the colony's command, heading an elite group of assassin's. During a fight half his faced was singed and he was given his scar.
