The first Sarah Nicole Morgan was bred from two modern variations to resemble a more ancient body type of the breed. They now look like the older style of morgans, but with the attributes of a modern Morgan. They are exceptionally good in dressage and cross country. Morgans typical range from 14 to 16 hands tall, but some can be up to 17. Solids are a very common marking as morgans do not typically have patterns. They have been known to carry mutations which brought out the pintaloosa, appaloosas, paints, overos, tabianos, etc. While the solids have little colorations they do have socks, stockings, and other small markings to help with individuality.

Christmas Treat: It's not exactly meant for horses but it is Christmas, so the rules can be bent a little bit and the horses can enjoy minty marshmallows; something that wouldn't be too too harmful.

Story Behind The Treat: The tradition started when this couple, who owned the lovely mare, had a little baby girl. When that baby girl grew, she learnt how to bake and boy, was it her favorite thing to do. She started with with the easy-bake oven and then made her way up to a real oven as she grew with age. At first she'd always sneak off to feed the horses her treats as her royal taste tester, since no one dared tried it. But that was until she got caught doing it and got in trouble for it...she still had no idea how she managed a week without going in the kitchen. Although every year when Christmas rolled around her parents were a little more forgiving and she was allowed to treat the horses with items that wouldn't be extremely dangerous.

Christmas Treat: Everyone at Running Blue stables has a tradition of making these horse treats during the holidays for a reward of a year of hard work from all the horses. When Holly was born, on Christmas morning, all the horses were enjoying their treats. The next year, she pretty much sprinted over to one of the owners, Candice, who in turn gave her one. They became her new favorite treat, and they're now made year round as a reward for Holly's hard work in her training. She's never grown tired of them, even though she's now 18!

Every year, Sky Afire Stables' head groom and trainer, Ralph, makes some peppermint gingerbread cookies
with his great-great-great-grandmother's family recipe, and gives one to each horse on Christmas morning.
Valencia just loves them to death, and tries her best to steal an extra one from the plate when she gets the
chance. Unfortunately for her - but fortunately for the horses whose cookies she attempts to steal -
Ralph knows her ways well and keeps the other horses' cookies out of reach.

Valencia is a perfectly sweet mare at heart, but she also has a very playful, mischievous side. She loves getting
into things and places she shouldn't, but she never means any real harm. She grew up with a number of other
foals younger than her, so, even when she should've outgrown her foalish antics, their youth kept her young,
too. Consequently, she also gets along fabulously with younger horses, though she can hold her own in a
pastureful of grown-ups, too. She is extraordinarily energetic, and never turns down the opportunity to take
a dose of some good old-fashioned fun. She is especial friends with Achilles, on of the stallions at Sky Afire
Stables, who is likewise energetic and fun-loving, though they do have their differences.
