The air is crisp and cold, and in the distance there is a faint sound of bells. The resounding jingles fill the air, multiplying as the sound draws closer. Streaking across the sky are several figures you can't make out, but the sound of the bells ring loud and clear. There's a thud and the bells ring all the louder for a moment before there is a stillness. You rush to see the source of the noise to find... reindeer!

Happy holidays everyone and to welcome in the holiday season it seems that Santa's reindeer have paid us a visit! A befitting gesture in light of the season of giving and this wonderful time of family and friends. favorite festive/holiday treat & why? Dasher has always adored crushed candy cane bars (more popularly known as Peppermint Bark). Ever since he was young, Dasher's mother would make them for Christmas time every year. Dasher would often beg time after time to help make the crushed candy cane bars and finally after much begging and puppy dog eyeing, Dasher's mom finally let him make them with her.
But, tragically just a few years after Dasher's mother had let him help her with the making of the bars, she died of an illness the doctors could not describe. Fulled with grief and confusion, Dasher didn't know what to do without his mother, and it was nearing Christmas. Then Dasher suddenly felt the urge to make his mothers famous crushed candy bars, as he started making them he actually started to feel better, as though, making the bars made him feel closer to his mother and like she was there with him, making the candy bars.
Ever since then, every year for Christmas Dasher would make the bars for everyone around town, leaving them at their doorstep every Christmas Eve. Especially the kids that had recently lost a family member, he loved to see their sad faces brighten with joy as they opened the door to see Dasher handing them a basket of crushed candy cane bars, and their happy wave as he walked silently away.

story behind fudge mint no bake cookies;; it was whiz's first christmas he could remember that the fudge mint no bake cookies became a tradition. whiz himself was not such a mint or chocolate freak like his mom and dad, but he was told that these cookies were santa's favorite. so therefore the young viscet liked making them with his family. the fudge smell from the oven was always enough to draw whiz over to the kitchen and help out with making the cookies. because of that smell he always knew that it was time to bake. after baking up the simple fudge flavored dough his mom and him would quickly dot the mint chocolate chips into the cookies. this way the mint chocolate would melt and become goey and hot when first bitten into. but, after letting the cookies dry, the chocolate chips hardened. after that whiz would always grab a glass and fill it with milk, before leaving their perfect santa meal out for the fat old viscet to eat later that night.
